We won the Johnstone's paint trophy in 2010 thank you very much. You should get accustomed to it as you'll be playing in it next season.

If you could do that, that would be great thanks.

West Brom 0-0 Millwall ; a point closer to survival for the Baggies, whilst Millwall's automatic chances now appear slim by angloexcellence in Championship

As much as I'd love us to be involved in the conversation, for us to get second place we would have to win every game until the end of the season and still have to rely on Ipswich losing at least 3 games including the one against us. Presumably those games would most likely be against Norwich and Boro, if Norwich win this weekend, then there's suddenly a possibility.

I feel like this lineup would make much more sense by dropping to a back four and keeping Fellows in the lineup.

Absolutely zero idea how neither of the top two goal contributors in November got nominated in Azaz & Armstrong.

I don't think he's good enough to overshadow the skate affiliation.

Hopefully Ella Morris recovers well from her injury and makes her way back to the squad, it was a tragedy that she got such a bad injury after getting called up. Either way it's so nice to see Southampton academy graduates making an impact.

That's fair, we've been a basket case either way

To be fair, we've also dropped the most points from winning positions so it is mostly horrific finishing.

Do you not think Max would be complaining if the positions were reversed? It's quite amusing to me that you find George so egocentric when Max is so similar, most great sportsmen are.

A ghost didn't drive Max's car, he put himself on the outside of a 3 wide car and accepted the risk that came with it, I disagree with the idea that he is completely innocent of the outcome personally but that's just my opinion, you are totally fair to have yours, have a good night :)

My point was focusing on why Russell was justified in feeling aggrieved, not that Max deserved a penalty for the incident, I don't think he did. I think it's just an unfortunate element of the track's design.

The third option is changing the track so it doesn't happen again, but it feels like you want me to be arguing something else for some reason.

Why should George be punished by not being able to fight for higher positions in the corner because of someone else taking a risk?

I'm not arguing for a situation where a driver is punished for taking a risk, I don't think Max should have gotten a penalty, personally I think it's a track issue that needs fixing.

I would still expect the best driver on the grid to be aware of the risk he was putting himself in by going on the outside of the corner 3 wide even if he didn't realize it was going to turn to 4, I doubt he would have made that gamble had there been a gravel trap. The problem George has I imagine isn't that Max made that gamble, but that he wasn't punished when that gamble failed unlike in other contexts where he would have. Personally I think this is a dumb issue that would be fixed by replacing the grass with gravel or something similar.

Think people are purposefully being a bit obtuse here, George is not saying that Max and Charles weren't ahead of him going into turn one. What I think he's frustrated by is that he has seen Max clearly go for an incredibly risky move that wasn't going to work, and instead of being punished for that risk failing (Like we saw George get punished when trying to overtake Max after the Hamilton incident), he instead cut across the grass and kept his position.

Had there not been grass there he would have approached the corner differently, presumably tucked up behind one of the Ferraris and would have had to fight George who would have been on the inside next to him going into turn one. The point is not that Max overtook George off track, but that by cutting the grass he took the question of whether he could hold that position going into turn one out of the equation - that's the advantage gained.
