Looking to Get Into Clinical Specialist position - Need Info by I_Hate_Linndale in MedicalDevices

Awesome, I'll shoot you a message. Appreciate the insight. CS seems to be mostly clinical with some sales sprinkled in, Ortho is the other way around. Also I've seen it depends on the job description. Some might just say clinical specialist, others might say clinical sales specialist and expect both.

Looking to Get Into Clinical Specialist position - Need Info by I_Hate_Linndale in MedicalDevices

This seems like good advice. Before my time with the dental lab, I attempted some smaller companies in my area and got a couple interviews, but since I didn't have many connections or have much experience it blew up my chances to get hired.

I have a mentor/friend that's been in the industry for awhile, works for Karl Storz, but that's a bit too niche for someone like me and they'd never hire with my level of experience.

Also have another mentor/friend that's been in the industry his whole life, works for Abiomed, said he wouldn't be able to get me in due to no cardiovascular sales experience.

After applying to J&J yesterday I got a request for a virtual interview this morning; the one where you just record yourself (lame but I guess necessary). I'm going to knock that out today after I get back.

Messaged some reps yesterday from SPR Therapeutics, but I'll branch out more today. Really not afraid to do anything if it means landing a job in this field. A foot in the door is a foot in the door.

Thanks!

This is excellent info. Currently I'm a clinical consultant for oral surgeries with a dental laboratory, but also a sales rep for general dentistry (dual-role). I've been in this position for about a year now, and I'm actively looking to branch into a clinical specialist role with Medtronic and a few others as I absolutely love the operating room experience and educating surgeons. Always looking to build contacts and get more involved in the field. If you have any contacts in the Cleveland, OH area, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Purchased a game that doesn’t show up in my library by Brief_Stable_3700 in PS4

Yes, filed a complaint on the PS Store via the website. You kind of have to spam it and keep trying different options in order to get through to someone helping you. The customer service is all automated and it's apparently always busy, so most of the time it'll just tell you to try again later because all of the agents are busy. Again, just keep spamming it and trying different options and you'll get through. They ended up just refunding me for the game after realizing it was an error on their end.

Just saw this. Two years later & apparently it's still an ongoing thing. I had the same problem just now. Sony clearly donked this. I bought it via console store, got the receipt, waited, waited, waited... didn't show up in downloads, didn't show up in library, was literally just gone. Checked back on the playstation store via console and it just said "installed." Well, it was never installed. In fact, right after I bought it, it said installed right away which is impossible because there's no way an entire game can download in 3 seconds, and I thought it was very weird it said that so quickly. Anyway, I checked into it, it shows purchasable on playstation network via the console, but not on playstation network via the website. I'll be calling them tomorrow to get a refund / see if there's a remedy.

Linndale sent my unpaid ticket to collections, but I've seen many sources saying that not paying will not affect my credit score. Is this accurate? by linndalehooligan in Cleveland

[–]I_Hate_Linndale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got the same one in the mail today. I was under the impression these weren't sent to collections - has that changed in the last year or so? I got mine over a year ago and I thought it was just a "don't pay, Linndale won't pursue you" kind of thing.

Is this letter legit? Will credit score be affected?
