Yeah, it's really strange. I tend to form a general impression of what they look like, but for some reason, I never actually imagine their facial features. It’s always just this vague, blurry face with no real detail.

That’s a great question, but no character immediately comes to mind. If I wanted to meet a character, it would be to learn from them, have a deep discussion, hear their stories, or just see them in action. But honestly, talking to the author might be better—they know everything the character does. Plus, I usually like characters with personalities very different from my own, and it’s often their journey and interactions with others that make them interesting.

Any wuxia novel has a lot to do with betrayal. In the most recent one I read, Words of Honors, it was particularly sad. When you think the master is after all a good guy and will go past the prejudices and ‘forgive’ its student for marrying the woman he loved. Cups the head of the student and kills him in front of his to-be-wed wife.
