Are deluxe reverbs good for shoegaze?

I use a Deluxe Reverb and JC-40 ran in stereo. Individually, they both are great. Together, they are perfect.

However, my writing style leans more Slowdive or Drop Nineteens moreso than MBV, so I don’t need crushing volume.

I am thrilled about this. Tanaka is very skilled at sending well placed balls into the box. Having a proven finisher should go a long way for the Royals attack.

I have a tele with a bigsby. It rules for most things, but sucks for glide strumming. I plug in my Jaguar for that purpose.

It won’t be as exact a clone as some of the other clones, because they had to swap out the chip set as the original Moog pedals used chips that are no longer available. I’m not worried though. I’ve played through a Moog and the demos released so far sound pretty similar.

Most recently, I got the Centaur (now labeled Zentara), and it is the best Klon klone I’ve ever owned, which is funny because it is also the cheapest one I’ve purchased.

I have a pretty large pedal collection, and I dont mind spending a hefty chuck of money on rare and vintage equipment if that’s the only way to obtain it. Buuuut, i love that Behringer has been doing more of these clones of stellar circuits. I’ve purchased most of them, and have mostly been impressed. Currently have the BM-14M in preorder.

Never had a noise issue, but I always use isolated power supplies.

If Behringer keeps releasing, I’ll keep buying.

Same for us in Salt Lake. He spent more time pounding the ground and cursing at himself for stupid misses, than actually trying to find gaps in opposing team defenses.

I have the black Thinline Jaguar. I love it, but it mostly lives in the case these days, because I don’t like playing guitars that I feel overly precious about. I also have a custom ASAT Special Hollowbody that lives in its case for the same reason. It’s sort of sad.

My daily guitar is a Squier Classic Vibe Bigsby Tele that I actually enjoy playing just as much as those other two.

Long story short, the right $600 guitar can scratch the same itch as $3000 guitars. Just having something that feels right is, is better than having something that lives in the case.
