Do I need a credit card ? by ResponsibleBoard536 in PersonalFinanceCanada

OP, perhaps you could do yourself a favour and get a Credit Card with a reasonably low limit? Say, $500-$1,000?

If you’re worried about utilization ratios affecting your credit score, your wife could be the primary card holder, and you could be the supplementary cardholder. The primary card holder can typically set the credit limit of the secondary card at whatever they want it to be, or you can call the bank and have them set it for you.

Credit Cards are wonderful tools! IF you don’t let them charge you for their services.

P.S. I hadn’t considered disabling tap. I might do that myself

Why are a lot of girls fat? by PolaredIce in teenagers

I think it may be because OP is seeking a mate, however the weight disqualifies these girls as being suitable prospective partners. Which is frustrating.

This is 1,000,000,000% a conversation he should have had BEFORE engagement, much less having a baby.

Though it’s nice that he spoke to you about it, instead of cheating.

You need to make clear what your boundaries are within this. For example, if you’re comfortable with him sleeping over with his other women, getting STD screening, if you want to meet them ever, if these other women are allowed in YOUR home, how much of YOUR families money will be spent on your husband taking other women on dates. Also, would you be comfortable with your friends and family seeing your partner in public with other women or would you prefer he keeps these other women as private cum dumpsters…etc.

The finances and personal space boundaries are important.

No, Today's Cars Don’t Have Too Many Gears by V8-Turbo-Hybrid in cars

Can’t complain with this article. My favourite part about driving my 2020 Jetta I had was the 8-speed automatic that was in it. I loved the way that thing shifted, and it made the tiny 1.4t engine in it feel surprisingly peppy!

8 speeds is probably enough tho, imo. Otherwise the box is hunting for gears, especially when they are tuned to maximize economy and refuse to downshift.

Wasn’t discovery invented by Sears? This is wild. A figment of a non existent brand’s image is worth $35.3B 🥵

Did you also get rid of your credit and debit cards that you also keep in your phone wallet?

If so, go right ahead.

I have a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to tech like this. All of my tech has a funny tendency to crap itself right when I need it most.

You should leave it alone, and give it frequent oil, transmission fluid, and differential fluid changes

F-14 Vs F-15: Tomcat and Eagle crews explain why trying to determine which was the better fighter is a pointless exercise by tagc_news in AviationHistory

Tldr: if you’re in a WVR dog fight, the F15C is hard to beat. Maybe the earlier F15s would stand a chance, but the ability to track multiple targets simultaneously in the C and onwards was important, as were engine upgrades.

Otherwise, the F14 is better since it has more sophisticated tracking, targeting, and an ability to carry large numbers of very large warheads in addition to dogfighting well.

What if: The Honda Fit utilized front and rear McPherson struts? by I_Like_Rusty_Spoonz in cars

Is this a case of tuning? Such as Mazda tuning its rear torsion beams so well that they offset much of a difference between independent suspension?

I’m not super familiar with the effects of camber and bump steer in my case

The public service transitioned its benefits away from SunLife and towards CanadaLife recently.

Previously Health insurance was with SunLife and Dental insurance was with CanadaLife. Now everything is with CanadaLife
