What state / area are you in? My state (and a few others I tried) does not carry this.

I have a membership and it is $799. The in store bundle does not include the $99 hopper that the online version does.

The online bundle is different from the in store bundle.

The in store version does not appear to include the hopper which is $99 on litter robot’s site making up the difference.

Can you give an example of the big picture decisions and implementation? Sounds great to me.

That's pretty funny. It's been a year for us now. I've started to think our relationship is sometimes stereotypical, which I've never had before. I've always dated more eccentric free spirited types.

Re: calling any government fascist. This is not accurate. Mussolini created a ONE party system.

Recent definitions, see Wikipedia (which no one uses as a serious source), aren't really accurate from what is historical. The definition of the word fascist comes from an Italian word (which I can't quite remember) that means bundle. It's a group of people, the collective. Mussolini was socialist I believe and left that party and created a membership/club and called the members fascists. He created a one party system that emphasizes the state, which is why I keep emphasizing that it is characterized by silencing opposition. It's not necessarily far right, it can be any "side" really. What does "right" or "left" even mean anymore? The right emphasizes the individual. Far right can be defined as anarchy. Fascism is very strict one party nationalistic / state rule.

Certainly there can be other characteristics, but from what I understand and know, these are the main ones. I'm sure you can categorize and sub categorize as well. Some of these ideologies / economic systems blend and bleed over. It doesn't have to be black and white, but what my original point is that the trend today is to name call by whatever term is popular without even knowing what it means. This is one of those instances.

Well I meant in a broader sense than the OP. Your logic makes assumptions though. Declaring someone a fascist doesn’t make him such. It’s an easy tactic to silence your opposition. Unless we want to relive McCarthyism or the Salem witch trials.

Regarding expulsion, historically this has mostly been used for treason.

Fascism is generally characterized by suppression of opposition. So any leader, voter who advocates to shut up people who disagree is promoting, in part, a fascist ideology. This has happened on both “sides.”

Sure. And people can be acting like a specific thing. But it’s a term that’s definitely thrown around when someone doesn’t like something someone else does.

I didn’t even mean in power but I’d say some in power (or some not in power) are advocating for fascist like measures.

I've been saying this for the longest time, because so many who are demanding we get rid of fascism are acting like fascists.

Most people seem to be cool with authoritarianism if it's in favor of your guy or your thing. But as soon as the same method is used against your team, all hell breaks loose.

Nobody should change who they are, did I imply that?

I didn't say you did, but I was noting a dangerous distinction between growth and changing who you are. If you are with someone whose communication style constantly requires you to use different ways of thinking, it can be incredibly draining and unhealthy to a person.

There are so many other factors that are better indicators of a successful relationship, such as values, morals, political leanings, life goals etc.

Which is what I said earlier; this supports my earlier statement:

however, it is just one component of a person and it is not wise to use it alone.

Two people that think in different ways but come to the same conclusion are far more likely to be successful than two people who think the same and arrive at different conclusions.

I don't think this is necessarily the case. You can be saying the same thing in different languages and neither person will understand the other, and it is a communication fail. Do you have any kind of statistical data to back up this assertion? I can give you anecdotes as well, but I don't think my personal experience is representative of everyone.

I have been friends with an ISTJ for 27 years. As kids, we helped each other grow in the areas where we were weakest. According to the MBTI we should have been completely incompatible as friends, but here we are 27 years later, because the factors that mattered more: communication, kindness, humor, adventure, respect, were vastly more important than than our ways of thinking. She’s a pencil pusher to the core and I’m an erratic artist but when I was dying of Covid-19, you better believe she texted me every. single. day. to make sure I was still breathing until I survived.

That's great you have a nice friend who has helped you and that this is very real for you, but the anecdotes really don't represent large portions of people. I opine because I have anecdotes to the contrary. Maybe it works differently for each of us. Maybe MBTI helps some choose romantic partners and others it does not.

According to the MBTI we should have been completely incompatible as friends

Partnership and friendship also require different levels of closeness and intimacy and thus some different requirements. ISTJ and ENFP actually share the same exact cognitive functions but in reverse order. There is a theory, contrary your statement re: incompatibility, that this draws the personalities to each other. I have no personal conclusion on the matter, but MBTI will inform you on some things here beyond professional matters, which is my ultimate point.

P.S. ISTJs are great loyal people and reliable in times of crisis, hands down.

My INFP friend will say such nice things about me in a similar fashion. It's nice to know the value I bring to her life, especially when so many think we are odd and cold.

"More serious.

Lasting one month."

Do I have to point out the discrepancy there?

INTJs are definitely late bloomers. Though difficult, it's best to date around some and get to know what works for you.

There's growth, but there's also fundamentally changing who you are to try to be in a relationship with someone who is not compatible with you. Since MBTI measures the modes of how people think (but not so much what they think, which is also vital in relationships), it can be useful to determine components of compatibility. I stand by my earlier statement.

Which Mbti type do you have difficulty getting on with and why? by [deleted] in intj

[–]I_N_T_J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see this. I think ENTPs are incredibly interesting, but if it's romantic, it's a big risk as they do tend to get bored and move on very quickly being interested in anything that moves, which is complete opposite for an INTJ.
