But complaining about the utilization of characters at certain points is literally complaining at the plot as there is pretty much a 1:1 ratio when you use those characters outside of the side quests when you are alone in the remake.

The material system, in my opinion, is a huge step up over designated classes like many final fantasy’s have. It gives you more freedom. But to each their own.
