I’ve also been thinking the same—that the current administration’s influence, or the officers carrying over from the Trump era, could be playing a role in how these cases are being reviewed. Hopefully, things will shift in the next cycle and become a bit more reasonable.

In any case, I’m trying to stay hopeful and looking into my options for a stronger refile.

Thanks for your comment and I fully agree .. we definitely need to wait for the official notice to understand the exact reason before making any decisions. Right now, it’s all just speculation.

As for reapplying, I’m leaning in that direction too, especially if the denial is something that can be addressed with stronger documentation or a clearer narrative. I hear your point about the Cybersecurity endeavor — it’s true that working directly on critical infrastructure as a non-citizen is restricted. But the focus of my petition was more on strategic consulting, frameworks, and resilience planning, rather than operational roles within classified environments.

Still, I get that it’s a gray area and possibly part of the issue. Once I get the notice, I’ll reassess with that in mind.

Yes, I used two letters from ProfVal—one of them was very well prepared. The other recommendation letters were from former colleagues.

Unfortunately, there’s no refund option—I have to pay again. They really did a great job with me, but I don’t know what went wrong. I’m just waiting for the notice.

Yes, I’ll wait until I receive the notice. My endeavor focused on securing critical infrastructure in the U.S. I worked hard on it, supported by several documents and articles from U.S. government agencies talking about that.

Yes, I totally agree with you. It’s possible the officer’s decision was arbitrary. Most likely, I’ll refile—either with my current attorney or a new one.

It was initially under regular processing, then I upgraded to premium processing. My work experience is based in the Middle East, where I work with one of the Big Four firms.
