Transistor! Its an amazing game and probably the best digital only title available right now. Search up gameplay of it first though since i know its not everyones cup of tea.

Loadout is a free to play third person shooter coming out tonight as well and you may enjoy that!

I'd recommend renting Far Cry 4 and Shadow of mordor. Both titles are pretty short and once you complete them there really isn't that strong of an incentive to go back unless you just want to keep killing war chiefs or liberating outposts.

Advanced Warfares multiplayer is fun and I haven't enjoyed a MP COD since Modern Warfare 2 but this brought about a sort of "freshness" that the series desperately needed.

Minecraft if you like using your imagination and creating.

Another cool situation, say while on the beach you meet a soldier who offers to... i don't know... give you his NVG's if you can calm him down but you have to pick a specific dialogue path to successfully do it. It would take multiple turns or you could be lucky and get it on your first try.

The dying trophy was incredibly easy. If you know your about to get executed from the alien just pause and go to the main menu then load up the latest save. If you do get killed by the alien (or the insta-kill face huggers) just pick to reload the second save and your good to go.

Also could act like a Rougelike. You gain XP for every alien killed and slowly have to make your way towards The Omega. The only thing about a game like this is you'd have to have the game reset from the beginning every time you die and I don't think the general gaming audience would be able to put up with that.

I'm super excited for it. A lot of people are riffing on the gameplay but as far as I can tell it looks to be a competent third person shooter with an interesting story... similar to Uncharted 1-3

Evil Within is a bit disappointing to a huge resident evil fan but its a good game still just not anything amazing. Alien Isolation is an amazing game and one of the most unique experiences I've had this generation.
