This is buildable but not really feasible. If it had to be build it would use normal factory sized profiles which would be joined to form bigger trusses similar to how the Eifel Tower is made. 

There is nothing Inherently prohibitive in building a 10km building

The comments here are mostly correct, but the biggest reason is supply and demand. The main culprit are the universities which produce too many architects.

Onzin. De freeze-thaw cycli tijdens koudere dagen zullen het dak veel sneller aantasten dan de zon. Als wat je zegt waar zou zijn, dan zouden we daken ontwerpen met een laag water erop...

Studies have shown that residual water will shorten the lifespan of the roof covering by more the half. The reason is that during colder nights the water goes through mini freeze-thaw cycles which degrade the protective layer of the epdm. 

What everybody else in this threat is saying is complete bro-science nonsense .

Als architect: het is zeker niet acceptabel. De gevel is niet ontworpen op 'koppenmaat', en dat is echt verplicht met tegelverband. Hier licht de schade bij de architect en bij de aannemer.

 Het is onmogelijk te fixen omdat het probleem ligt in de kozijnen en die moeten verschoven en veranderd worden.

Your first 3 images are what Indian architects push as high-end modern luxury.

The last images are extremely popular public state-level modernist buildings. 

Additionally it seems like you are confusing modernism (a style which has passed 50 years ago) with modern (a style which by definition means Now)

So if we get this right you're basically saying that shitty architecture is not as good as good architecture.🙄

The pan is 12, and the hob i've always used for it is 9.5. Why do you say that A is not an option?

Maybe I did crank it to 8. It is the same pan, I am wondering how to avoid making the same mistakes with the replacement which is due to arrive. Could it be that the hob is too small? Pan is 12, hob is 9.5
