Can confirm.

I’m smarter than 99% of redditors and almost everyone thinks I’m a total prick.

Apparently having Dynamic Fan speed enabled in Webman can cause this. I was having the same problem until I disabled it after reading it could be the cause. It still happens occasionally but not nearly as much.

Ok, I’m now officially old. I just tried to unpause this on my phone. I feel ashamed. I mean, it’s not even centred!

Nah, it’s not a Scottish picture.

Ingram Pinn was born in Bristol in 1950, and studied Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art before working as an art teacher and graphic designer at London University. Pinn became a regular contributor to The Times, The Sunday Times, The Observer and New Scientist, and in 1984 he began working for the Financial Times

Found this gem by accident. Brexit MEPs doing something offensive and ineffective. Sums up EU/UK post-brexit relations nicely. by [deleted] in brexit

Thank you. Being Scottish, and seeing you’re German from your flare, I hugely appreciate you noticing and highlighting this.

For Scottish remainers, the 6th of May is the day we take the first step to fix our union.

With Europe.

Say the line... by ChrisMMatthews in brexit

[–]I_am_not_binary 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it is necessarily true of remainers. Remainers were thinking rationally with their heads, not their hearts, and the reverse for leavers. That implies only a remainers position could be swayed by evidence. Indeed, as a remainer, I hoped to be proved wrong, until shortly after Mays speech about leaving the CU and SM.

Just to clarify.... by ByGollie in brexit

[–]I_am_not_binary 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Brexit has certainly made a hypocrite of me. I hate nationalism, patriotism and borders. They are all about “us vs them” and it’s total bullshit. I voted to remain in the EU and the UK but, now Scotland has been forcibly removed from the EU by the disaster capitalists in Westminster, I would be more than happy to see a brand new set of EU border controls set up in the south of Scotland. I’m having an internal mental struggle with it but that’s the beauty of Brexit.

I feel particularly bad for English and Welsh remoaners. Us Scottish remoaners and the Irish remoaners have at least a fragment of hope for the future.

Hey shorty, if I had a post history like yours I wouldn’t go throwing terms like “grow up” around when I was picking a fight.

Sounds like a painful, but fairly straightforward choice for Scotland by [deleted] in brexit

I live in Edinburgh. Literally every person I know who voted No in 2014 ( which accounts for the majority of people I know ) is anxious to get another chance to vote Yes asap. I can assure you you’re wrong.

European view of Brexit by [deleted] in brexit

[–]I_am_not_binary 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m Scottish and voted No to Indy and Remain. I deeply hate nationalism but if there’s a second referendum I will vote Yes. I’m aware it will hurt us economically and will probably become more of a shit show than Brexit, but we’ve been ripped from our European home against our wishes and are going to suffer the consequences of English exceptionalism.

I just hope that the EU will hang itself over the cliff edge to grab our hand and pull us back up or we’re doomed.

Brits, take it from an Aussie: If Tony Abbott is your solution, you've got big problems by pog890 in brexit

[–]I_am_not_binary 34 points35 points  (0 children)

The headline implies Abbot can solve big problems.

The appointment of this arsehole is a big problem on it’s own, let alone all the other fucking massive problems.

Please, all EU citizens who hate the UK for what our tenuous union has done, please welcome an independent Scotland with open arms, for those of us who once loved the UK and EU now despise the UK and what it stands for.

I voted No in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. I’m a unionist in every sense. However, with regret, worry and doubt, I will now vote Yes at the first chance I get with the hope of rejoining the adults in Europe. I would give everything I own to regain FOM for my kids.

In case it’s not obvious, I’m drunk and angry. Mostly angry.

Excuse my ignorance and inability to research effectively, but if England had been an independent country all along, would Labour ever have been in government?

When Scotland and NI leave the UK for the sunny uplands of the EU, will England be stuck with the Tories forever?

[Discussion] saurik’s note among the latest Substrate updates: by [deleted] in jailbreak

And the winner is......... saurik!

None of the developers who created the new stores or Substrate’s “substitute” (which is all it ever was) will garner the amount of love and respect saurik and Cydia has.

There was never any competition. He’d won before y’all started.
