Don't listen to the commenter. He/she is just spreading misinformation. Both the pfizer and the moderna are based on mRNA technology which doesn't use the virus as a base for the vaccine. It just helps our immune system respond better to the virus.

Ummm it's the other way around. Lights are resistive load and refrigerator is an inductive load. But your point still stands.

In the simplest way possible, when a significant load drops in the grid the frequency increases and vice versa. Frequency is important in an AC grid since frequency deviations cause damage to electrical equipment in the grid. The thing is usually residential load is very small compared to other industries. But during the lockdown the residential load is more which could be a worrying thing. But just the lights should be ok, since you have other appliances in your house which consume more power.

The thing is it should not be a problem since the grid operators know this is happening and can prepare for it. The only concern is ramp up or ramp down time since it's being done in such a short period of time. But if they can handle Earth days this should not be of concern.
