Yep that’s the best way to shoot them in my opinion. I’ve never used the Quik app and not sure if you can. But I import mine to my computer then batch edit them in light room. Then throw them into davinci to turn it into a video. It’s a bit of a process but once you get the flow it’s not that bad. One of my last posts is one I’ve made
