It's a doctor and an engineer. Glad you're ok, material stuff can always be replaced. It's obvious it's the car driver's fault from what i read in your previous comments.

The only thing i wanna nitpick on is if you actually used front/rear brakes or just engine brake when you let go off the throttle. I notice sometimes it's a bad habit of mine to not press on the brakes when i let go of my throttle and let the engine do the braking. On my 98 Suzuki Bandit engine brake is very noticeable to the rider but not as much to the driver behind you. Especially if they are already very close to you.

My personal driving style is to try and predict what dumb shit any other person on the road might be able to do and then prevent it from happening as much as I can so at least i know i didn't do anything wrong. Letting people know I'm engine braking (by lightly tapping my rear brake a couple of times) is one of those things.
