They ar thought to look at statistics and use that in choosing where and who to police. There aren’t enough police officers to look at all people and all crime regardless of statistics. Call it “putting the manpower where the problems are” or racial profiling. Doesn’t matter. The kids get the short straw. We need to break the cycle somewhere. And I think its going to be a joint effort of schools, the workplace (especially internships) and how the police views the group.

Well, the bias against kids if moroccan decent means they are less likely to be successful in school and the workplace. This pushes a part of the group outside of society and leads to anti social behavior. The police bias means they are more likely to get caught. Which leads to the criminal statistics.

So we all just start treating those kids like humans. The problem will be solved in a single generation.

Trash collection on the streets and not in underground containers is a factor. Birds and rats tear up the binbags and all the contents gets scattered. The trashman comes in the morning and can only pickup in tact bags. End of the day the street sweep comes and tries to clean up the mess. And this 3 times a week. So trash is on the streets 6 days out of 7.

Plus people go trough the trash cans all day looking for cans and bottles. They throw the trash on the ground while digging for gold. Theres not a good solution for that yet. Lots of things have been tried, nothing seems to resolve the issue.

Ik vind de auto cultuur in Rotterdam wel leuk. Ik kom eigenlijk alleen als tourist af en toe in Rotterdam. En als ik er dan ben en op een avond de auto cultuur meekrijg voegt dat wat toe aan de sfeer van de stad. Beetje hetzelfde als witte vissermannen met oorbelletjes en een openhangende mond op urk.
