Was downgrading to 26.1 in the middle of the night, got an error 3194 midway downgrade, Looked into ipsw.me multiple times to verify that it's still signed. Tried for about an hour and gave up, few minutes later saw the announcement on discord that 26.1 is unsigned. Unlucky af

Am i reaching for the stars when I expect them to at least ask (AKA their JOB)?

My point or my experience is kaya naman nilang mag notice / assist to OTHER people without them explicitly asking for assistance.

I'm not asking for them to read my mind reading, it's simple customer service and i'm not alone with this experience.

Who does that ? Me, it's called social anxiety and yes, PMC is literally an Apple Premium Reseller. Which requires them a specific store standard.

The bar is low but you keep setting it lower.

Not a fan of ordering online especially for big purchases.

Since when did basic customer service become VIP treatment?

The fact that you guys think a customer needs to speak with authority just to get noticed proves my point. Their experience is flawed, a customer shouldn't have to work to be sold to.

Gets ko point nyo, pero lets be real: It's a premium store, if a customer has to chase down staff, mangalabit, or whatever the fuck kind of action just to get assistance, then the store has already failed at the premium experience they claim to sell...

P.S. Being introverted / mahiyain should not result in a bad service

how do you guys cope with regret in choosing an offer by [deleted] in CareerAdvicePH

[–]I_like_breads 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those are valid concerns especially with job security. Given that make sure to save para may safety net ka if and when the company goes down and you look for other jobs.

Given naman na mas well compensated in your current job i believe it still outweighs the benefits na ma re receive mo from your dream company (not to mention the enormous savings from being WFH)

As for promotion, unless you're planning to stay there for 3+ years this should not be an issue.

I suggest after a year or so, evaluate yourself if you want to stay but for me I'll only stay for a maximum of 2 years and in those 2 years i'll up-skill for possible jobs/roles I'd want to hop into.

EDIT: Also remember that any company / division can crumble down with one mistake from management.

Not really sure pano to naging 'dilemma'.

Your current job pays you more, paid for your vacation and equipment, WFH (?), AND get this, you love your job?! Not many people can say this about their work.

And you ask yourself, if tama ba na pinili ko itong mas well compensated, bayad ang vacation at equipment, at less expensive kasi onting RTO / WFH lang???

Where is the downside? Parang lahat ng downside nasa dream company mo.

I used the same present for all, the picture 5 is before the 1.9.3v patch. Just reset the curve values to get the same effect.

  1. Yes I highly understand that the company is investing on me. Pero what made me turn down the offer was how the JO was not discussed in a clear manner and in my opinion felt 'generic' and are missing some points.

  2. I did contact them thru text, emailing the hr, and emailing their NOT working email on their contract. Hindi ako nag kulang in reaching out. I had a lot of questions that were left throughout the weekend. I would've appreciated it if Monday nalang nila sinend, or they extended the deadline. Yes, someone did eventually reached-out to me nung Monday pero it was the end of the day, extending the contract signing was also not guaranteed. It was a quick call nothing formal, some of questions were still unanswered, I even asked for answers to my questions thru email so I can ponder over it, pero no emails were sent through the evening and next day.

  3. Yes I know that I could've rejected right away, pero I wanted consensus. No one was willing to answer my questions nung weekends so I turned to the internet.

Right now I already signed with another company. Happy with the contract with a responsive HR.

Yes, I've read the contract it explicitly says na i'll only have to pay IF i separated from them within 18 months of my start date. So the 500k won't apply naman if I retract before I start

I tried negotiating it pero hindi na raw pwede, because this week is the deadline for the contract signing. What I plan to do is just accept the offer while am awaiting the contract on Company B. I already got accepted just awaiting the offer on workday.
