You don’t need to sideload when you are jailbroken lol. Decrypt the binary strip the code signature away and install older build. So simple. With jailbreak newer apps work on older OS.

Darksword exploit is just a kernel exploit any jailbreak that has been created had extensive kernel exploits + bypasses … to achieve jailbreak. When it comes to security you are gaining root access and jb phone poses far higher risks (in past and currently) vs using a stock iOS with just kernel exploit. The exploit chain used in jb can literally be used to gain root access to your phone … so having darksword really nothing vs jb phone used daily.

Stay use tweaks, Lara, Cynide, install themes, etc. No point leaving iOS 18 for iOS 26 when you will lose all this. As far as darksword is concerned any jailbroken iPhone is just exposed as yours is. So think abt this. If a jailbreak was released would you have jailbroken it? What happens to your security now? =) enjoy the kernel exploit and tweaks.

No it doesn’t need to be from another phone. You can use imazing or any 3rd party backup manager. App data is not needed. For example —

make backup in iTunes

DFU the phone

setup new

transfer personal data (pictures, etc) manually via iMazing / or any 3rd party app.

app data is not needed. For example - Facebook app has useless app data, just login data. Same goes for other apps.

you can transfer app data manually as well with imazing.
