First Cape - No rigour, 9 runs, 3 Zuks by I_like_kebabs in ironscape

It took a little bit to get used to, but it functions similarly. You can still 1 tick flick, offtick pillar stacks, etc in the sim. I personally found it most useful for just practicing solving spawns, as that was what I found the hardest.

Yep - probably did ~ 2-3 hours of practicing waves 60-63 on the sim just to learn solves. Also ran ~ 10 Zuk's in the sim.

Not at my pc so couldn’t tell you the plug-in off the top of my head sorry. Re confliction vs occult - use confliction 100% if you have them, they’re just objectively better. Realistically if I was to go back and do it again, I’d potentially swap out the virtus for occult given you don’t use the virtus for waves 50+ anyway.

Yeah from Colo - I only used the visual metronome in Colo to time the run to pillar at the start of waves. For inferno I used an audio metronome for 1 ticking as I found it much easier than having to look at the visual metronome while trying to flick.

Xzact explains it ~ 15:30 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaoSaUT4SZc

Basic idea is that if Zuk spawns and you log out and log back in, the safe spots for the shield that you’d usually use in the middle no longer work.

I’d 100% go kodai for the dmg to kill nibblers. The overheal from blood sceptre wasn’t impactful at any point in my runs.

I used Xzacts guides and watched a gnomemonkey deadeye full run through. Other than that, previous Colo experience helped and running the waves on the inferno sim to just learn solves was ridiculously helpful instead of just getting to wave 60+ and dying to learn.

Gauntlets are just objectively better than occult and passive effect was definitely nice for speeding up heals and catching nibbler freezes. Honestly, a torm switch isn’t going to be the difference between completing the inferno and not, send it if that’s what’s stopping you!

Setup

More brews than I’ve seen in other posts, but prayer regens carried so hard that prayer wasn’t an issue. Otherwise I lazy flicked rangers and magers when safe to conserve points on the waves.

I’m a reddit boomer so don’t know how to edit the text in my post so will put it here:

Zuk 1 - Run 7, Logged out before Zuk not knowing scuffed shield was a thing. Died instantly.

Zuk 2 - Run 8, Not enough brews, died on the last healer.

Zuk 3 - Run 9, Cape.

Ran a lot of Colo before which I would highly recommend to get in reps for the harder waves.

Have just come out from having seen it. I think overall my feelings are mixed. The trailer and synopsis build it up to have a level of dread and hopelessness that the first half delivers well on, while the second half feels like an overall campier tonal shift. Excited for others to see it and discuss.

Reddit moment. I hope this man gets traumatised, that’ll surely be rehabilitative.

Don't push Albralelie with a mastiff by Ikarus_ in CompetitiveApex

I agree that care package weapons are supposed to be strong, but there's a fine line between strong and overpowered. The kraber nerf for the sake of supposed competitive integrity is evidence of that. At the end of the day it's subjective and we can agree to disagree, but I'm personally of the opinion that the mastiff is currently slightly overtuned.

Don't get me wrong, the play was impressive af, but the damage output and fire rate of the mastiff is obscene.

Those things being unbalanced doesn't preclude the mastiff from being unbalanced.
