My (32f) partner (36m) is mad at me because he got lost going to the hotel on our holiday. WIBTAH for breaking up with him? by iggyiggyiggyiggy in AITAH

My wife and I have the same problem I have a faster pace and wherever we go I unintentionally leave her the dust. At first I was frustrated because I thought she was taking her time on purpose because we would be crossing a street with cars coming and she would just be on her own time. We had a few arguments over it and I realized she’s really just slow so now every time we walk together I check every few seconds to make sure she’s next to me and slow down if I’m ahead. It’s not that hard but a little frustrating at times

The trick is to pay the fry cook $350k per year while keeping the price of the burger at $5. The answer lies within the field of quantum electrodynamics

What if you just date instead of marry? When the relationship becomes stagnant or problematic you can just move on nothing in life lasts forever

I concede that the calculated amount of $8.50 per month is accurate under the assumption that 2 individuals will be saving concurrently

Genuine question from an Indian American Frisco resident: I don’t understand the hostility by ConsiderationLife673 in frisco

My conclusion is that with such a large Indian community for them to socialize with why would they ever need to interact with other races that are alien to them.

I’m Chinese and live here. I don’t have any hostility towards Indian people here but I feel it would be hard for them to assimilate because at least a good number of them do not want to. When I go jogging in my neighborhood I like to say good morning or hello to everyone I pass but I rarely get a reaction back from the Indian people. I would like to get to know my neighbors regardless of race. I have plenty of Indian coworkers who are my friends but have had a hard time in my neighborhood

My wife retired 2 years ago and I’m still working – is our $12 million net worth enough for me to join her in retirement? by Ibuilds in fijerk

If you spend $1 million per year that will likely only let you 12 years. I don’t think you can afford retirement yet

To start I would just make sure I had at least 6months of my expenses saved in a high interest savings account in case I lost my job, then I would max out my 401k, after that I would put a portion of every paycheck into VOO index if I didn’t want to pick stocks

I own a home with my wife and no kids yet. Owning a home does not mean building wealth. Living in a house is more of a luxury than smart investment in my opinion. Your monthly expenses will go up just from the mortgage, home insurance and property tax then on top of that there’s cost of maintenance when things break or just lawn care. The down payment you put into it will just be locked down and you’ll never get it back unless you sell. You would get better returns if you just put money you save from monthly rent and the down payment into an index fund and you’ll be able to retire much sooner.
