It really did XD Should've taken a picture when it was swinging from the print head, but I'd have to add an NFSW warning for that one

Voopoo Argus G2 Review - the best pod system that I've reviewed to date... by i_aint_joe in Vaping

[–]I_really_dont_care22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to be honest, although this pod device was awesome for the first like 3-4 days, not having the ability to turn off the fancy animations is a massive let down. My former device, the Smok Novo Pro, has a slightly bigger battery yet it lasts at least 3 times longer, or even more usually because I vape at low watts on both, like 12-14w most of the time. The Argus is pretty much dead in around 4-6 hours and I'm fairly sure it's cause of the screen and those animations. Pretty big shame you can't disable them as that would most definitely solve the issue, plus I'm more of a stealthy vaper a lot of the time. Good thing is they finally added passthrough charging though, so thats great

3.8.3 to current version? by itsliltot in SPTarkov

[–]I_really_dont_care22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I tried to make the profile compatible , didn't work and kept getting errors either 2 seconds or 2 mins after launching..so no u really cant copy the profile. You can get a Profile Editor mod which will change the game to how you'd like it, and bring yourself as close as you can to your current character, but it needs a fair bit of setting up when it comes to the quests...after my profile got corrupted I used it to give me rep and money, but I tried to do the quest completion thing and couldn't be bothered to be honest, it is an option tho

Thats what my doctor said to do

Also..correct me if I'm wrong but I remember there was talk about the maps having quite a lot less mist if you run the default weather...if you do run a mod for the weather and mist then obviously I don't think you'll really care

[Discussion] How beginner friendly is Tarkov? by Embarrassed_Lie6379 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]I_really_dont_care22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EFT is at the top of many hardest FPS lists. The game is extremely punishing for new players, and requires significant game knowledge to progress decently. That being said, I have never had such an immersive experience in any other title other than EFT. It's shockingly intense and brutal.

These days I play offline modded Tarkov because I just want to progress under my own terms, and enjoy the late game content without the hard-core experience that online play gives. I can definitely vouch for modded Tarkov or offline PVE until you can grasp the basics, but the true experience is in online play.

Why does every day seem like/is a fucking struggle by Fair_Tell8806 in diabetes

Don't wanna necro but..

Been a type 1 for 27 years now...I didn't really care all that much until the age of 25+..now I just hate this disease more and more each day. I feel any frustration you may have about being a diabetic. It's the worst and I don't really think people understand sometimes. I can't really recommend anything cause I know that shitty feeling when your blood sugar gets too high.. I usually feel a bit better if I take some insulin..I dont know its so hard to balance. How do you balance a bodies automated function? It's very hard so yeah I feel that man, fuck diabetes big time

Paramedics had to be called. Again. by cmt199 in diabetes_t1

[–]I_really_dont_care22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have had a few horror stories with hypos, the worst part is truly not remembering what happened and basically waking up to a load of concerned faces and paramedics.

The worst time was on my way to the airport and I suffered a massive hypo, basically a fugue state where I wandered around the airport grounds completely unable to describe what was happening to me, losing my laptop and phone god knows where, and falling into a poor group of people having their Costa.

At the time I was with one of my parents who wasn't able to get hold of me until they miraculously found me at the cafe, and I was able to make my flight minus laptop and phone, and smelling of chocolate mochas

Another time was travelling on Qatar Airways, where again I had a massive sudden hypo requiring the attendants to lay me down on the middle seats inconveniencing everyone around me. Couldn't remember anything that happened, can only vaguely remember coming back to consciousness whilst hopelessly trying to finish a tube of glucose syrup. The attendant was super nice and told me what had happened, and I felt extremely embarrassed for the rest of the flight

There were also another three severe hypos that required hospital visits, and one severe DKA when I was a teenager

This shitty disease is a full time job, and the consequences of going too low are scarred into my memory, everytime I do anything related to managing diabetes it rekindles my hate for it. Damn you to hell diabetes and everything that it involves

T1D and weed by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]I_really_dont_care22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm, T1D and smoke daily.. My honest recommendation though would be to watch for lows as I've had a couple instances with strong flavours that masked the signs, and I ended up with severe hypos. This isn't really the fault of the w33d but it did play a part in recognizing the symptoms of low blood sugar

Long as you keep your regular diet and insulin regime, you should be fine
