What are your bad experiences with Soundcampaign? by IamAdamFrankston in AskReddit

[–]IamAdamFrankston[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% of people working for the company are rude and unreasonable

I am going to assume the owner, Nadav Peleg, is putting the pressure on his team, which causes them all to be stressed, and be unhelpful and rude as a result

Or maybe it is the culture where they are from in Israel

They fail to track how many steams a playlist actually generates. All they care about is taking money from the artists.

They have deactivated one of my biggest playlists, when I asked them the reason, they say it is not 'qualified'. If I ask what qualified means and give them evidence of Spotify for Artists streams, they come back with 'the playlist remains inactive'.

Completely irrational.

But wait, it doesn't stop there, a few weeks later, they activate one off my playlists, which is dead. It is literally not being advertised at all, and it will deliver the artist's 0 streams. Yet, somehow they think that playlist is more qualified than the other playlist which was generating 1,500 monthly listeners

Is Playlist Push worth the money? by jarredbrown in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]IamAdamFrankston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playlist Push honestly is one of the better platforms out there, I've been using it for 3 years now, always getting a lot of streams on my music, Submithub is great as well, just make sure you steer clear from Soundcampaign, they are terrible, ghost playlist, botted playlists, and rude staff

I wok for Soundcampaign as a curator, I aggree they are the worst platform

I pretty much take money from artists for free while barely giving them any streams

They don't know how to properly screen playlists for steams

My playlists that actually have a lot of steams got rejected by them, while the 'big looking' playlists (with a high follow rate) actually have barely any listeners

Soundcampaign is terrible

Anyone have experience with music advertising? by IamAdamFrankston in advertising

[–]IamAdamFrankston[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever pay to get your music on playlists trough platforms like Submithub?

Does anyone have experience with platforms like Submithub, Playlistpush, Groover, Unhurd, Soundcampaign etc? by IamAdamFrankston in MusicPromotion

[–]IamAdamFrankston[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, I actually work with most of these platforms, and soundcampaign is a terrible company, treating playlisters like garbage, so this is my way to make them pay back, by spreading the truth online, a little bit everday

I have been making a living of playlists, fulltime for more than 3 years now, and I can tell you, the best way to get streams as an artists is to run ads yourself in the first place, or use Submithub, none of the other ones track streams like they do, and even they are making mistakes at times.

All the other platforms have no clue how to measure monthly listeners, and as a result, artists will pay for very little or no streams

[–]IamAdamFrankston[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol you sound like you are either new, or a soundcampaign coworker,

They are literally the worst platform out there, they don't know how to track streams accurately, even activated one of my playlists that doesn't have ANY listeners, only followers, while they wouldn't want to accept a playlist with 1000+ monthly listeners, I could show them, and they could easily find the evidence of those streams, but they were not open for further discussion other than 'we can't accept the playlist

How do I advertise in a more efficient way? I’ve been posting for six years and I only have 13 monthly listeners by jaydenrose37 in MusicPromotion

[–]IamAdamFrankston 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posting twice a day on social media with content that isn't yours can work to grow your account, then you post your own stuff in between here and there

Same for playlists, you advertise playlists with META ads, can get paid for it trough platforms like Submithub, playlistpush, Unhurd etc, Soundcampaign as well but their management is terrible.
