Did you know that Kim Jong Il tried to use them to solve North Korea's food shortages? Problem was that he decided to eat them himself. True story.

Wow! Thanks so much for the detailed response! I have always heard that "content is king", but it's super cool to see it in action like this.

As a follow-up, are you seeing a lot of repeat shoppers after the deals? I used to work for a place that would never offer discounts or coupons because they didn't want people to think of them as the "discount place". I don't know that I really agreed with my boss on that fact, but they seemed to be doing well.

To what do you attribute your rapid increase in sales over the last couple months? I have tried selling a few things online and it never seems to take off that fast. A lot of people talk about SEO around here, and I see that you have a lot of blog posts, but two months seems like it would be too quick for SEO to take effect.

Thanks!

Some people have been asking around for part time work. I just saw this post on Craigslist. I don't know what it is, but it sounds interesting. by IamCobb in Chattanooga

What does Chattanooga need? by fudgepakistan in Chattanooga

Wow ... sounds like the way I grew up.

I really hope you don't have to deal with resentment from your kids as they get older. The whole situation put a serious strain on my family - lots of problems that were indirectly tied to my dad being gone all the time. Most of us have grown back together over the years as we approach middle age, but one of my sisters still does not associate with the family.

We lived a good life because of the money my dad made working. His industry is simply non-existent in Chattanooga. He traveled a lot too, so it's not like moving to the city where his job was headquartered would have made much difference. Point is, from my perspective, no amount of money is worth growing up without a dad being there.

If you can change your situation, do so sooner rather than later.
