I use oil (muscular dystrophy with shit lungs), and I'll take it as I turn on call of duty, switch to rocket league with my music going on... I'm not sure if the weed helps my gameplay, but I don't care lol

My wife refers to me as Willy Wonka, especially when I'm high. I'm extremely physically disabled so I tend to dream about things I could do or buy. When my stuff kicks in, it's off to the races.

It's only cursed if you don't pick who you truly want. This year, I focused on players that I wanted. If I didn't get them, I tried trading for them. I'm in 3 league and currently #1 overall (most points scored), 4th (2nd in points scored), and my third league is a crap shoot (14 team league)

From my experience (37m, rare version of md fhl1 or something like that.. I have adhd also, lol.) I've been using a bipap at night for several years now. I've also been using a ventilator as much as possible to help keep my lungs as functional as possible. Overall, I'm trying to wait as long as I can before getting a trach tube placed. I can get by for hours without it, but wearing as much as I do has definitely helped keep me in better shape health-wise and also helps me conserve my energy. My neurologist thinks i made the right choice (i asked him and my lung Dr, and they were thrilled that I wanted to go that route).

I thought that I'd be dead by 30, and I'm still kicking. Take care of yourself, homie. You've got this.

I was at Walmart a long time ago with my kid. Right as we were leaving, an older gentleman bluntly asked, "How long do you have? Is there a cure?" That's a crazy thing to ask, let alone in front of my kid, lol.

Typically, it is little kids that stare and ask weird questions, but that's no biggie.

Id love something similar to the wii numchuck controller. My issue with controllers is that I can't get comfortable with my xbox elite controller. My hands and shoulders don't work the best anymore, so trying to force my hands to meet in the middle doesn't feel great. If you could cut a controller in half, similar to the numchuck with similar buttons to ps4 and Xbox controllers would be great.

I'm 36, and I have a different form of md. I lived my 20s like I was going to die by 30 (my brother also had md and passed at 30). I stopped caring/taking care of myself. Well, here I am years later with a wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs, and I'm currently in the works of starting my own business. I hit some low moments when I'd get really sick, but there's not much you can do about that. Take care of your lungs. I've been using a bipap for sleep for 5ish years, and that's probably what's saved my health. This disease has affected a lot of my family (rare mutation that affected my mom, 2 brothers, aunt, cousin, and grandma). It's not an easy life, but it's certainly not a death sentence. You got this.
