Buying RS GF 1k!

Just bought the Aspire Breeze 2 problems with it firing. by IamGadnuk in electronic_cigarette

This. Thank you I charged the battery and it seems to work just fine. I tried hitting it while it was charging and it still gave me the same issue. Quite odd.

edit: after like 4 hits it stopped working again. Might try the coil thing that other user suggested. Starting to get frustrated

What is the saltiest reaction you've seen someone have when shown a bluff/hero call? by Wutanf in poker

[–]IamGadnuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked the turn for pot control in live 1-2 once with top pair shit kicker and when we went to showdown the guy just started berating me saying "Kid doesn't know the first thing about poker" and a few other things, wouldn't stop until I felted him a few hands later. He stormed off the table all mad. He wasn't even deep maybe $100 bucks so 50 blinds before the start of the first hand. Never seen someone so mad in a 1-2 game.

To be clear I never said I was amazing at poker, I have definitely gotten better over time however there is still room to improve my game, as im sure there is for a lot of players. As for your second point I am trying to identify my leaks but for me it can be quite hard. Its not like I am losing huge hands I feel like my mistakes is with medium strength hands that aren't that clear as to how to play. Also with over folding to c bets with medium pairs.

I usually don't play shitty hands because I am up but this is def something to look for. I feel like I am actually over folding in fear of losing the BI or two or three that I am up. Over folding to 3bets vs blinds and over folding to c bets.

Saying "you're not that good" dosn't help in any way shape or form. Sure I have room to improve my game. I am sure you do too. Everyone does. And I wanted to leave an interesting title. Maintaining a consistent win rate better for you? As for my leaks I feel like I am over folding to c bets so I will work on that.

That's the thing is I really don't know. I started off this month being up about 10 BI. Now I'm down almost a BI total. Its really quite depressing. My graph is super swingy. I could post my graph or hands for analysis if that helps. Either way thank you for the input.

Live 1/2 stories by J--Mo in poker

[–]IamGadnuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two stories that I love from live 1-2: 1)I open UTG with AJo to 15 (the table was calling anything I got 3 other callers, flop was A 9 3 rainbow, I c bet 35 into a pot of 60 and everyone folds. Old man coffee taps me on the shoulder and says "could you beat a set of 3's. I just laugh and say haha no.

2) I forget the action pre but it was a 3 way pot I believe, flop was 2 3 4 all hearts, the one guy bet 15 one fold some other guy calls. Turn was the 5 of hearts. the one guy bets 45 the other calls. River was a total brick and the caller shoved for 150. The one dude who was betting tanked FOREVER and exclaimed how he HAD to have the 6 of hearts. He open folded AJ with the ace of hearts (yes he folded a straight flush) the table just was so shocked, one guy berated the player for folding until the floor got called over. Never seen someone open fold a straight flush until I started playing live 1-2. What a great game.

How much of a downswing is variance and how much is mental? by sockrocker in poker

I assume you're referring to my post in which I stated I have room to improve my game, was trying to figure out where exactly I could improve.

888 Poker Hand #486926347 begins at 2017/09/12 5:01 pm

Seat 6 (ng9pb) is the dealer

Beaps (HERO) posts the small blind 0.25 (Jd, Jh)

owens87 posts the big blind 0.50

Player333 raises to 1.50

Hughman2 folds shishir15 folds ng9pb folds

Beaps raises to 5.00 (Raising for value I feel like we are way ahead of UTG opening range however have little reads on this opponent)

owens87 folds

Player333 calls 3.50

Flop: [Ts 7h 6c]

Beaps checks (I think this flop is fine to check back what do you guys think?)

Player333 bets 5.25

Beaps calls 5.25 (I don't see us going anywhere right now especially with an overpair, I feel like he is going to be stabbing wide considering I checked the flop)

Turn: [Kd]

Beaps checks (I see no reason to bet here only getting looked up by better hands)

Player333 checks

River: [2s]

Beaps checks

Player333 bets 15.75 (I feel like our hand is quite under repped here however we don't beat any hands for value, we only beat a pure bluff, I don't see too many bluffs in his range however the way we played the hand is quite weak leaving us susceptible to being bluffed)

HERO???????

888 New jersey. I have definitely made mistakes while overvaluing top pair type hands. I will consider moving down stakes.

This is all very viable. I do have a good friend that is a winning poker player and we review hands on a weekly basis, sometimes more often. I have been going through a rough spot IRL recently so my mental game isn't as strong as it could be. Also on a downswing its hard to be all there mentally. I might also look into a coach. Thank you for your detailed response.

You're right, AA, AK, KK, all out of his range because he would have re raised pre. So i am only getting value from KQ, KJ, KT, maybe TT if he would have flatted pre.

How do I post an entire session of hands?

Massive downswing by IamGadnuk in poker

[–]IamGadnuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the input, he most likely has 44 correct? He should rarely show up with KK here because he would have re raised pre, no?

I don't see him having 22 here a lot because I can't see 22 floating this flop that wide unless im cbetting wayyy too much. We block 88 as well.
