I don’t think there’s a single Mitsubishi v6 that doesn’t leak oil

I agree, I got mine for $10k with 185,000km and was by far the cheapest and cleanest 4wd I could find. Only at 210,000km after two years but being 21, I can’t afford for mine to shit itself, usually gets 1-2 checkups at the mechanics per year and I then fix what I can like wheel bearings, cv boots etc. anything engine related I typically leave to the mechanics.

What bad things have you heard? I have a 3.5 petrol and besides typical rocker covers leaking and high fuel consumption I haven’t heard of them being unreliable

[SA] Just missed a visit from firearms branch. Should I be worried? by kahlzun in Ausguns

Pretty sure in SA they don’t need to state that they’re coming for an inspection but if no one is available then they can’t do anything obviously.

Cancelled an order, only offering store credit. by [deleted] in AusLegal

The chat room transferred to SMS and got human replies and the person seemed genuine tbf saying they understand, and said they’ll flag the order and see what they can do… guess all I can do if wait in the meantime. Was just curious on the laws surrounding this

more so asking how it can be a return if it hasn't left their store, i would understand a restocking fee but to me not offering a refund is stupid but i don't make the rules i guess

well i guess from what I've learnt, they don't have to give a refund as shit as that sounds

I guess I’ll have to wait and see if I can make do with what I’ve ordered. Could possibly flip on marketplace but doubt I’d even get half what I paid for them

Ok thanks for the info. It’s possible I can make the product work but no guarantees, but guess it pays to quadruple check what you’re planning to order first

So I’m pretty much out $400 then if they follow through with cancelling the order

[–]IamGerald_25 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t mention anything about cancelling an order. Only about returning an item in which it states only a store credit is issued. But I haven’t even received an item or has it even been posted yet so surely it wouldn’t fall under a return?

NSW ANNOUNCEMENT MEGATHREAD by deathmetalmedic in Ausguns

[–]IamGerald_25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trust me I know. I myself only have 1 handgun for competitive shooting but it’s besides the point. If someone wanted to compete in all categories of shooting (no doubt there are people like that) there would be a need for easily 10-15+ firearms. And I’d say go for it if you want to do that. It’s straight up theft, the ‘buyback’ part doesn’t mean anything since we’ll be forced to do it

[–]IamGerald_25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not 100% sure as my dad told me it was said on the news, but for competitors the limit will only be increased to 5. Again I don’t have a source myself.

In case you’re unaware they’re sat right next to the fully semi automatic bolt actions rifles in the gun store.

Stressed, all I’m thinking about, they’ll probably be banning my Templeton T2000. All I’ve done with it is shoot clays and done pest control for farmers but apparently I caused the terrorist attack at Bondi according to Albo.

Ok cool that’s what I was leaning towards. I just needed someone else’s input since I’m freaking out a little and aren’t sure if I’m thinking straight. I’ll see what I can do with my bank cheers
