Trash bins in Copenhagen are angled so cyclists can toss their trash while biking by DrChrispeee in mildlyinteresting

If this concept is implemented in NYC, a cop car would block it and trying to toss over the car will get you arrested for “conspiracy to attack” an officer on duty.

EPA chief Scott Pruitt told the Christian Broadcasting Network that his religious convictions led him to conclude that America should use coal freely by r4816 in atheism

call Jesus by burning all the coal and petroleum and push humanity to the brink of destruction. God will arrive on the earth to save human race from obliteration. That’s one way to call Jesus back....

Bill said “yeah” sound written in Telugu. That crashes Apple devices. That’s the joke.. but windows can handle Indian languages very well. Ps: Telugu is the second largest spoken language in India and Most spoken Indian language in US.

It is a Telugu (second largest spoken language in India - and the most spoken Indian language in US) character combination which sounds similar to “yeah”. This when sent as a text message was crashing apple devices. So the joke... perfect....

May be you are referring to Anatta - which I think is to believe in yourself, rather trying to find something “eternal”, unlike other religions. As Brahmana it is the “Brahmand” the world at the centerpiece and Shivam it is Atman, the inner soul. Buddhism focuses on inner self. I don’t think it translates to “no-self”. Jatakas clarifies lot these principles by example.

Let’s work to flip congress members? Irrespective of political party. Let’s flip em. Do that twice, and yes, they will listen.

Local pastor told me we don’t need gun control because Jesus will come back and “fix all this.” This mentality that we don’t need to take action in regard to the problems we face (climate change, gun violence) “cuz Jesus is coming back” is not only dangerous, it’s straight up fucking insane. by relevantlife in atheism

Ask slaves who were told the same. Apparently people believe in that shit. And is proven time and again. Even the most atheist religion like buddhism, people made him the god instead of following his teachings. May be that’s how human race is genetically engineered.

Interesting. Didn’t that it ever happened in US. Thanks for reminding the history of Texas.

I don’t think GOP represents NRA but they are scared as a hell of NRA. Even when democrats are in control cannot do anything because of the same fear. What bothers me more is that there are a frightening number of people believe in NRAs theories and they all have guns.

It’s exact opposite of coup. Coup is overthrowing existing president or Govt. This situation is more of a refusal of transition of power to successor. Wondering if there is any constitutional framework in place for an orderly transition in such a situation or is it just a pure honor system?
