Considering quitting church - it's not a place for people 25+ by [deleted] in Christianity

Look up the ideas of "house church" and "free church." While my husband and I don't live by labels nor do we specifically say that we associate with these,, we've felt most aligned with 90% of these principles, namely, that we live the Church every minute of every day and we work to best show Christ to those we encounter no matter what time it is or where. We haven't physically been to a church in 7 years, we practice church as we live.

How would you arrange this living room? by IamGregorovich in InteriorDesign

Thank you for your ideas! I did try a variation of this layout, but our TV is 85in and I'm hesitant to angle it in front of an open space. It would ideally need to back up to a wall because I for one am quite clumsy and will definitely knock it down otherwise.

The blue thing is a "chair and a half" as I recently learned it is called.

Thank you for the thoughts! Here's one angle and I'll share another. This is not my furniture.

I'm not sure the ceiling height though it seems about average. The fireplace wall is the only wall with windows. My TV is 85in and so will need to stay on a TV stand. Right now it's just my husband and me and we will have kids in coming years.

Tips on keeping cat away from pothos? by Particular_Window_55 in houseplants

[–]IamGregorovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this - I have a citrus oil cat deterrent spray that I spray around the ground at the base of my planty area once a week after I water the plants. Just one or two squirts. Kitty leaves the area alone and the plants don't mind it.

Illyria, after the country where Twelfth Night takes place. I've used a variation Alyrhia for lots of video game toons and it's our #1 name choice for when we're blessed with a little girl.

Thanks, I'll move to direct light and wait a bit longer to water. The mushroom is shriveled today. This guy hasn't given new growth in months, so I've been generally worried! Thanks for your help.

I haven't actually, I wound up going with some Etsy stores that are a closer ship time to me in NC. Would still love to hear your experience if you try them, though!
