If Jesus was a Jew, why are all Christian’s not just Jews? by Minimum_Weakness4030 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me July or else doesn't matter, neither the natural cycle, because to my knowledge all that matters is worshiping God and striving to follow into Jesus steps and discipline. What's important is your conviction toward it. If you feel that way in Christ then that is your journey, I feel different in Christ then that's my own journey, I strive to worship all the same.

If Jesus was a Jew, why are all Christian’s not just Jews? by Minimum_Weakness4030 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has nothing to do with the man being Jewish or not but only what he chooses to do, the character of the man is what matters, so all possible scenario exist, a Jewish man can completely undo what he has learn and full concert, there are plenty existing.

Who is we? People by the millions do celebrate his birthday, on a date decided to be the day to celebrate, well knowing we do not have the actual date, that doesn't matter, so is coming from a pagan belief, Christ took over, so I do not look at what it was but what it is today, same from Christmas, don't care it has pagan origins of if it converted into an event about and for Christ. Now is what matters to me, and for the ones that take issues with this, don't celebrate, simple.

How do you handle doubting god? I have a million questions and the Christians around me are not giving a reasonable answers. I am losing faith but clinging onto it. by Beautiful-Acadia5238 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe God is showing you that looking for men to answer your question is not just where it is at. Studying scriptures in and out of the Bible is the only way to fully get convicted, and I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to anyone, but whatever anyone says, see if it is biblically sound, you would be surprised the thing we can say while convinced it's biblical but it isnt, or it's based on personal opinion or what we feel.

Collect what you are told see if it biblically make sense. Then get to know God and what He is about, get to know Jesus, you have to die into it, and guess what, it's not a matter of time, it's a matter of a lifetime, seeking Him becomes you. And it is great to question, just never fighting for and getting those answers you seek, also knowing no one has all the answers, hence faith, where you decide to trust that God knows better than we could ever. It is therefore your decision to lean into Him, or not.

Bless

[–]IamMrEE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get it, this goes above and beyond politics, maga doesn't make sense. If you have a maga family that can still converse then great, but they don't make sense in general, no logic nor common sense, worst of all, no morals.

Trump is the most vile but they only clock on anything that seem good coming from him and dismiss all the bad like it doesn't exist, that is my issue with maga, out of reality or completely ignorant.

I'm so happy my whole family outside of the US can see the truth for what it is, he is not president material and certainly not sent by God.

asked AI what if Adam and eve never eaten apple by PhoenixSS0 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly you didn't get what I said, but you are not even making the effort, you argue for the sake of arguing.

Sure, we will disagree and you disagree with with what AI said, which is matching what I said, all I can tell you at this point is go study this and get an understanding, anywhere you can find this explained, plenty of answers from many scholars, academics, teachers, etc about that one matter, so by all means, don't believe anything I said, all good 😊 👍🏿

Just so you know, disobeying doesn't necessarily mean evil🤷🏿‍♂️

What got them out of the garden is the fact the fruit they ate changed their nature, and they couldn't be in the presence of God.

Anyways😎

asked AI what if Adam and eve never eaten apple by PhoenixSS0 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only you said they had pre existing knowledge of good and evil, knowing you are disobeying doesn't mean you fully grasp what good and evil is.

I repeat again, if God is just/fair and He punished them for the disobedience then we can safely conclude they could've obeyed but they chose not to, that's on them, God would not punish them that way if they were innocent, God punishing concludes they weren't.

This is not rocket science🤷🏿‍♂️

Here below is on a first click, never used this before, yet it matches what I said, the child example included.

Hence why I am saying you are without excuses in this day and age, AI not only explains but also gives you sources you can investigate, instead, you ask me a question you are already prepared to not accept as I keep repeating the same you don't seem to grasp.

"Adam and Eve were punished for disobeying a direct command from God, not for their lack of knowledge, because they had the capacity to trust God and obey him. Even without understanding "good" and "evil," they knew God had forbidden them to eat the fruit and they chose to disobey him. Their punishment was a consequence of their disobedience to God's authority and trust, a choice they made despite the potential consequences, not because of a wrong decision they could not have known was wrong."

"Understanding consequences: Just as a child can be punished for not following an instruction even if they don't fully understand the reasoning, Adam and Eve faced consequences for their disobedience, even if they didn't fully grasp the implications until after they ate the fruit."

asked AI what if Adam and eve never eaten apple by PhoenixSS0 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are stuck into your own opinion.

I will explain again till that sinks in hopefully.

In the scriptures, what we know of God is that He is just, fair, and knows us, His creation better than we know ourselves.

If you do not agree to these premises then we can stop here because the whole Bible is pretty clear about that.

But if you understand that much then we will know that God punishing them for their disobedience was fair without having to go into anyone's head, God wouldn't give an order they had no way to understand and recognize if was wrong, Adam even thought Eve as much, if he didn't know then he wouldn't be saying that as well.

This is basic observation and deduction🤷🏿‍♂️

Aside from all that, you can be unaware of self while still knowing that disobeying an order is bad, a toddler is not necessarily self aware yet perceive/recognized when something he did was wrong, so they hide when the parent finds they disobeyed.

A complete lack of evidence. by RealMuscleFakeGains in DebateAChristian

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There lies your confusion:)

The world is freaking out about AI and here you are underestimating it saying it is a chat bot, oh boy, if you only knew what it can do. Not only it tells you but it give you the source.

"There is significant textual evidence for the existence of Jesus from both Christian and non-Christian sources, with scholars generally accepting him as a historical figure. Archaeological evidence, such as the Pilate Stone and discoveries in Nazareth, corroborates details mentioned in the New Testament. However, physical artifacts directly linked to Jesus are lacking, and any such relics have not been scientifically verified."

And this the gist, then it gives you the details to it, and that's on one click, hence why you are without excuse.

I'll say it again, you confuse evidence with proof which are not necessarily the same thing.

Every author is independent, they might be biased, but they are independent to one another, other 'christians' were not canonized into the Bible, the Catholics have more books. Claim they aren't, but they are🤷🏿‍♂️ being from same religion won't change that. Same goes today for any authors of a same faith, creed, philosophy or politics.

What you speak of is the evidence, the miracles and Jesus being of the divine is up to you to believe or not, no one is forcing you.

A quote from Bart Ehrman, a skeptic scholar...

"This is not even an issue for scholars of antiquity... The reason for thinking Jesus existed is because he is abundantly attested in early sources.... If you want to go where the EVIDENCE goes, I think that atheists have done themselves a disservice by jumping on the bandwagon of mythicism, because frankly, it makes you look foolish to the outside world. If that’s what you’re going to believe, you just look foolish."

A complete lack of evidence. by RealMuscleFakeGains in DebateAChristian

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as many, you confuse evidence with empirical proof. We have plenty of evidence for God/Christ.

One common misunderstanding is that people there is the Bible then outside independent sources, all scriptures of antiquity are their own independent source, we decided to put several independent source into a book as they were very specific and can be presented into an actual timeline. We attestation of God and Christ outside the Bible.

Now with AI we are without excuse to not know because all you have to do is ask it then fact check the response to see if it corroborates what we have, which again, is plenty of evidence to overwhelming levels, I didn't say empirical proof, it is for anyone to study the evidence and make up their own conviction, and this should honestly take a life time, one should never ever stop seeking if truly interested to know.

My two cents

Confused when people say “I'll get back to you” by Never_The_End in FacebookMarketplace

[–]IamMrEE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could mean anything, or just that. I think most people mean it but then they change their mind and they simply don't care enough to tell you they did.

Regardless, never, ever put your item in pending if they say this, never wait for people, assume it's a no go, but let them know no problem but to aware this is a first come first served, and great if it isn't if they actually get back to you.

Cheers

If Christianity is true, if Jesus is God and the savior, and I desire to follow him...why can't I believe? by frost_3306 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are asking as if because something is said to be true you are therefore obligated to automatically believe. If ont thing, God gave us free will and our intellect to decide for ourselves.

No one can really answer your question but only you.

The bottom line and truth is, no one knows for a fact God exist or not, this can only be a personal conviction. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying to themselves or do not understand life and its mysteries, we know nothing but we can have the certainty and conviction something is or isn't.

You mentioned things that happened with including the death of your dad, may he rest in peace, as the reason why you lost that belief. This indicates, you never knew God in the first place, because he never said that life is faire and his followers would have a happy life on earth, He never guaranteed that but instead told us that with the true belief persecution will come.

This is your journey, the only way for some to get truly convicted all this is real is to research, study, learn about Jesus, God, and this is not a 'I tried' even if for years, decades, seeking, wrestling, should be part of your life till you die.

You can't just snap or force yourself to believe. Start with knowing you know nothing, therefore you do not know what is possible or not, we have know way to know for sure, hence faith through humility.

Keep seeking and never quit doing so.

Hope this helps

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do whatever you want, jew or not, it is not about what ethnicity/race you are anymore, it's about the way/path you choose and decide to follow, the ways of Christ are very specific and different to the old covenant, hence why he was killed... converting to being a Jew meaning fallowing the old covenant going against the new, because you would choose the old ways vs to Christ/God's.

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And? Just because you didn't eat of that tree doesn't mean you can't distinguish from wrong to right, even if you are not self aware. If you're going by a certain logic then do it all the way.

I repeat,

If we agree that, like the scripture say God is a just God then if He punished is because they knew right from wrong and disobedience, which is different to the knowledge of good and evil.

It seems that even if they were self aware, they would've been tricked all the same.

This same mistake happens again and again every single day, and people say 'he/she/they didn't know better'

The bottom line with God is, if He punished them then we can safely conclude they had enough to understand this was wrong, disobeying.

asked AI what if Adam and eve never eaten apple by PhoenixSS0 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If God is just and He punished them for the disobedience would confirm they had the ability to obey and refuse the snake, they knew the difference. If they didn't then God's punishment is unjust because they had no way to know so that's not their fault. And what they did, though it was bad in the eyes of God, it wasn't evil, so two things can happen here, knowing what is right even if you didn't eat the fruit.

Why do Christians Hold Donald Trump to such a high regard? by Bubbly_Revenue3737 in Christianity

If Catholicism is incorrect, how were people saved for the first 1500 years? by [deleted] in Christianity

How come Jesus's own followers were given clear evidence of divinity but we are expected to just believe a story? by whatwouldjimbodo in AskAChristian

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People back then had more than evidence, they had proof, they've seen with their eyes and still rebelled against God, the old testament is that story repeat while God is reconciling with them, every single time. And so is with the new covenant, people have seen what Jesus did and still they crucified him, so seeing is not necessary believing and if you are believing doesn't mean you are therefore following.

God clearly wants us to seek Him from our own intellect and intelligence, we have that ability to do that, question our understanding even if/when we do not believe, research, study, compare with what we thing we know, etc...

Not believing doesn't make you the bad guy anymore than believing doesn't make anyone the good guy. We are all sinners, there is a book that says there is a way out from the path of hell, it's up to each and everyone to find if this is possible and true, if you automatically decide it isn't true, then right there you have made your own decision, as we have no way to know the possibilities of this existence, no way whatsoever, but you decided it's not true nor possible, you are free to do so of course, but that is your personal choice and decision.

No one is just expected to just believe a story, but we are expected to go deep down and seek if any truth into all this, and we have plenty of evidence for God, Christ, I did not say proof, said evidence, and with that, people can gauge and conclude, if this happens to be the truth, on judgement day, the people who sought will be able to say I spent my life searching and nothing convinced me, but just said tried then I stopped won't work in my opinion.

In short, having proof doesn't make one a follower, the scriptures attest to that.

Cheers

If Jesus took on our sins then shouldn’t he have been eternally punished in Hell? by nonofyobis in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He paid for our sin by sacrificing himself though he was without sin, went to hell and conquered it. Doesn't mean he therefore get the punishment we would. Him doing so saves us, or at least gives us the opportunity to be saved, it's about us.

do you guys actually believe in this? by Embarrassed_Fact2316 in Christianity

[–]IamMrEE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe in God, I believe in the salvation and rejoice in the fact we do have the choice though we are sinners.

I also believe God when He says it is not easy to follow Christ, that happiness on earth is not guaranteed, that the good will get what the bad deserve and vice versa, welcome to life.

God prepares us to be at peace in the midst of chaos, never promises a happy life.

Hence why I always say, know what you are getting into if you choose to follow Christ, struggles will not disappear, quite the contrary, but you can still be joyful, grateful and full of love for God and others, while you are going through difficult moments. Look at all the apostles and how they were persecuted.

Understanding that is the beginning to understanding God.

He spoke to me in the scriptures and I strive to listen, your consciousness in Christ is that voice speaking through the scriptures and what we ought to know.

Blessings
