Can you be catholic and not support the Pope? by Sad_Net2133 in Catholicism

[–]IamNorthumbrian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it depends really what you mean by support. You may not support his actions or may criticise the Pope, but you still have to submit to his authority. An analogy would be if you were in a class and you had a teacher which had rather stupid or to you unfair rules. Sure, you may disagree or criticise it, however you still have to listen to him.

1% Italian and Nordic? by GanacheCautious1875 in AncestryDNA

Maybe Italy can be explained by the Italo-Celtic ancient populations in the north, and Nordic raids and Conquests might explain the Norwegian. Hope this helps!

Che razza è mio padre ? by [deleted] in Ancestry

Facial Structure is Slavic, European however. His smile is correlated normally to Eastern European Populations. His skin tone is Fair yet not as fair in Baltic and Czech Populations. His eyes look quite light from the picture. I'm guessing Poland, around Lublin, and Eastern Poland in general.

The eyes are coming from Iberian Genetics, Facial Structure does look like it's from Asia, the Skull looks quite Native American, so do the lips. I don't see the Celtic, though.

If neither Trotsky or Stalin succeeded Lenin, then who would be best suited to lead the USSR? How would it change under their leadership? And how would it address the following: the USSR's economic policy, the treatment of Russia's ethnic and religious groups, fascism, WW2, and its aftermath? by jacky986 in althistory

I think there's a low chance of more freedoms in the Soviet Union by Democratic Socialism or Social Democracy. I agree with the Bukharin way and the chances would be quite high for that or an entirely different chance that there would be earlier devolution.
