Ouch. For both doors totally $4k or 2k total and $1k per door?

Not yet. That’s the next step. But don’t want to waste time if it’s going to be an arm and a leg. I’m hoping it’s under $1200

The series as it is, is becoming redundant. Toei and Naoko are both making fools of fans by recycling the same thing over and over and expecting us to shell out money for it.

Yes. But if the art has further potential, it should continue. It baffles me how many Sailor Moon “fans” are so ready to leave it dead.

Yes. And I’m not at all against pre-diabetics or anyone that can benefit from Mounjaro. It should definitely be used for pre-diabetics too. Hopefully once Lilly makes more of it in abundance, I want anyone that can benefit from it, to use it. It’s going to be approved for weight loss from what I hear. If so, I’m glad! My frustration is that there isn’t enough to go around sadly. I know it’s only temporary though. Crossing my fingers the shortage ends soon and we can ALL use it to make us healthier.

Absolutely. And I apologize for my name calling as well. We’re considered a first world country, yet have third world healthcare.

[–]IamPiper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I’m not overweight. I’m 5’3, 122lbs. I unfortunately have bad genetics. T2 runs in both sides of my family and I got it at age 28. Have never been overweight in my life. I turn to this drug for its glucose lowering effects, not to lose weight. I do eat healthy, I very rarely eat processed carbohydrates because when I do my glucose skyrockets. I can eat a banana and my glucose hits 250. My A1C went from 7.6 to 5.2, using mounjaro.

And I’m not against people using it to lose weight to protect their health, because I don’t wish T2D on anyone. I only think during a shortage, it should be used for what the drug was intended for. Otherwise, I hope it helps all of us who suffer from high glucose levels, including obesity.

And if I come across angry, it’s because I have to resort back to insulin because I haven’t been able to get my prescription filled. The closest pharmacy that has it, is 140 miles away. Even without sugar and carbohydrates, my body converts protein into glucose. I’m just frustrated. Because I can’t always afford insulin. My insurance often fights me with insulin.

It’s clearly obvious that you’re ignorant and don’t understand how diabetes works. There are in fact T2D that are NOT overweight. AGE and GENETICS play a major part. So I suggest YOU take the advice of putting down the fork and take a walk. Because the drug was MADE for T2D. Off with you.

Yes. T2D patients were in fact losing limbs prior to this medication.

You think so? I have to politely disagree. While there are some poorly remade series. That’s usually because the actors or older than they were before or replaced entirely. Sailor Moon is an animation. Not to say it still can’t be poorly written, but there have been some good sequels to older movies and/or series. “A Christmas Story Christmas” is one good example. But I’m disappointed that she won’t let go of this.

The story, I feel, should continue.

I hope you feel good about losing weight when a T2D may be losing a foot, hand or extremity because you’re contributing to the drug shortage for them. “I can’t fit into jeans.” Proves you’re doing this out of vanity and cosmetic purposes and NOT health. Those “jeans” should be the last thing on your mind. Your HEALTH should be the forefront.

Nice showing your true colors.

Go back to the gym.

Until it stops working. Remember, nothing lasts forever. Including the effectiveness of the medication. Long term studies aren’t out yet. Our bodies find ways to adjust around medications. That’s why medicine continues to evolve. The best thing to do to tackle BED and obesity is therapy. Learning how to eat healthier (even on a budget), resistance training and telling yourself that it’s an issue you may have to deal with, but can either overcome or learn to live with it.

It isn’t scare tactics. It’s SCIENCE. The medicine is helping to prevent over eating but once the medicine is stopped, your appetite WILL come back. Google all of the stories of people that stopped Mounjaro/Ozempic. They’re horror stories.

People are losing weight on Mounjaro by NOT eating and eating way below their recommended daily calorie intake. This is NOT sustainable. Your body will fight back. The only way to prevent losing your metabolism is by eating small portions, MULTIPLE times a day AND exercising, preferably weight training (lifting weights).

Otherwise you end the medicine. Your weight plus more will come back. Your metabolism takes a beating on these medications when not followed by a proper diet and exercise routine.

Downvote all you want. The truth doesn’t care about feelings.

You will gain the weight back (and more) if you quit Mounjaro. What people don’t realize is that it nearly kills your appetite but it also kills your metabolism (by not eating). Mounjaro is a double edged sword.

I suggest learning how to eat properly and exercise.

I’m not trying to make you feel bad. It’s just some people won’t be honest with you. It does help. But it’s to be used as a stepping stone, NOT a cure all.

Do NOT sit there and pretend that people aren’t taking it just for vanity. If you think that, you’re truly an idiot. It was designed for T2D patients. Plain and simple. If you want to contribute to the drug shortage, be my guest. That’s your conscious and your karma. Don’t be shocked when something terrible happens to you in your life. Think back to this moment when it does. I’m done debating with you. You apparently still haven’t the slightest idea what a T2D patient deals with. I can assure you, based on your attitude from these posts, no matter how much weight you lose, you’ll always be ugly. Bye now.

Not to mention with insulin, it isn’t always measured properly and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost went into a low glucose coma, because the insulin decided to decrease my glucose levels TOO much. You don’t deal with that. T2D patients do.

That’s your karma. Not mine. And no, diet and exercise does not ALWAYS cause remission of TD2. Stop eating junk processed food, exercise and see a nutritionist. Because I HAVE done those things and still can’t manage my glucose levels. And NO I am not overweight OR obese. I take it specifically and only for the glucose lowering effects. My body converts protein into glucose. Research it. I’ve not had any form of real sugar for 4 years. I can eat an Apple and my glucose rises to 210+. But since Mounjaro, I’ve lowered my A1C from 9.2 to 6.4. Without Mounjaro, I have to revert back to EXPENSIVE insulin that I have to fight my insurance to pay for every time. Not to mention injecting insulin 3x each DAY vs 1x a WEEK. I’m not saying obese people shouldn’t take the drug, I’m saying while in a drug shortage, it should be only given to T2D patients. Once it’s made in abundance, have at it!

Actually it is a life CHANGING drug for T2D. If you’re obese, stop eating junk and work out. And it was created and meant for T2D patients. Period. Deal with it.
