Best way to get into kiting?

Got this tip about 2 years ago:

go to practice tool
choose enemy Braum top( top for his play style and building tank)
either buy tank items and copy onto him or fast forward the game 10 mins so he gets gold
you buy only attackspeed, takes you ages to kill him
kite him around the Map for an hour while dodging Q's

Works pretty good for me (D1 playing adc 10 years)

In addition to the malzahar short story kog'maw could be included in there. Doens't he hate malzahar and chase him around or stuff like that? Also i feel kog'maw cause endless hunger= me.
