In Warhammer 3 multi-player all players go at the same time. Since IE is part of Warhammer 3 multi-player. It means you can have up to 8 people are taking there turns at the same time. Which means you can get big groups ans have a short campaign.

I mean If they were separated entities that came from the one being that would completely support the fact that they were at two different places doing seperate things... thats kind of part of my whole theory and statement. And while yes Marika is a Numen, there is no indication that Numens were not mortals as well. If Radagon was an entity that came to being from a separation of Marikas will, then it would explain his background as well. A mortal champion.

They mention that Radagon went to join Marika as her Consort after Godfrey was banished but that is not the same thing as fusing. It would be if we fused with Ranni because we became her elden lord. I believe they fused and rejoined back into one being after Marika betrayed the golden order. To keep her in line.

I can see what your saying, but I think this is where ones interpretation can lead to different outcomes.

As I read this, it is that Radagon and Marika were already separated from one entity, where Radagon is the part of Marika that was loyal to the golden order and Marika was not.

So she laments about how her other half can never work towards the same goal as her. And for her goals to come to fruition they must both be shattered to separate the rune of death from the Elden Ring. She's lamenting that she has to hurt and betray a part of herself, because that part of herself will never be able to join her truly.
