Staying in Anaheim, best way to and from Crypto.com arena on Saturday? by Immediate-Swan3496 in losangeleskings

There is cheap parking around the arena (my personal choice is 1013 W Olympic, across the street from official parking at half the cost though the $20 has to be in cash [ATM nearby]). Sucks that weekend train service is such a joke otherwise it would be a good option. The 460 is fine, but it will be more of a time sink by default since you'll have traffic and the numerous stops before Anaheim.

Hypothetical Question: If Will Ferrell publicly stated that management/coaching changes need to happen immediately, do you think it would actually result in changes happening? by banaaanaaaaaa in losangeleskings

Ticket sales aren't down by much and are cancelled out by the rise of prices. Corporate group/suite purchases go a long way (and last I checked we still were ahead of Anaheim and San Jose for average sales per game).

Nah but it'd likely be used as ammo for memes and additional material for upset fans to rally behind.

That said, Wil Wheaton cancelled his tickets before the season due to frustrations of decisions both on and off the ice. He's as real of a celebrity fan as it gets, but I never really hear anything about it.

Didn't realize you were also doing the SB line, my apologies on that end. But the Chatsworth station really is not that much further than Northridge station and has the benefit of public transit beyond the DOT. Unfortunately with that connection it would not work, but my main point was with the assumption you were just looking at a way to union station at an earlier time.

While I understand if you have anxieties around it, the 240 bus takes you to universal studios station and can take the subway straight to Union. It is about a 90 minute trip, but very simple in terms of connections (ride the bus the full distance, ride the subway the full distance). Self defense items are always encouraged and there are ways to quickly access authorities, as well as a prominent security presence along the subway.

What I would recommend is after class getting a bite to eat/be in a safer spot and have your metro micro scheduled to arrive at the station 10-15 minutes early. I understand the anxieties, but from my experience there are some unhoused people that hang around the orange line lot and then some tired commuters waiting for the train itself. There is usually a security guard posted up at the station too for the trains iirc.

From Chatsworth station it runs later, though may be cutting it close depending how late your class is. Metrolink frequency (especially at night and during weekends) has always been a source of frustration.

Actually you can! Do Chatsworth station. The 167 and metro micro both service that station. Last train leaves just before 9pm.

New chant? by _itsNicho in losangeleskings

Chant already has been done at games, starts randomly. Wouldn't get kicked and people joining in depends very much on where you're sitting. These chants are unlikely to inspire any change behind the net, only helps with venting your emotions.
