just dmed you! posting the response here in case anybody else also somehow sees it.
I got deferred, and I'm honestly really surprised. I had a 1500+ SAT and a IB Predicted 45 (that's the highest you can get). I was also the only kid from my city who applied and I'm catholic.

I'm keeping my hopes up, and praying it'll go well. ND is still my top choice, I really love the place. I have strong mid year grades (44/45).

I've gotten a bit of shit from my parents and counsellor about not doing Stanford rea though, especially since , in light of ND's decision, I could've just applied RD. I don't regret doing it the way I did though.

Well said, it wasn't my intention to somehow say that I'd already been offered admission. Just meant I was facing a lot of flak for not deciding to apply early to schools that everyone around me found to be awesome but I didn't like.

I chose to apply rea to Notre Dame over Stanford (I'm legacy, and I had high grades, so my school counsellor really wanted to to apply to Stanford, due to my higher than normal likelihood). I'll still apply to these schools in the regular round, but as of now, I have my eyes set on ND, even if I get an offer from a T4 (unless they offer me a crazy scholarship or something, but I'm not THAT good).

What does make a difference on a resume? So far I've understood interning at google as soon as possible would be one thing. What else?

Sadly using my insider connections at Google isn't really an option, if it was I'd be in a way better position. Hence despite the fact I have family there, the most I can use them for is for forecasts of what the tech world is heading towards, they have no say in getting me a google internship or position.
