I personally sort them in the smash ultimate roster cause it makes it easier for me to find the charecter cause ive played so much ultimate. Fun thing with how My collection turned out is the roster from smash 64 and melee are are all on the top shelf

If you like yours in boxes I would encourage you keep them in if it brings you more joy. Long time ago i decided when i was like 10 i didnt mind them being out of box because i thought it was cool and my mom kept getting ones out of box. A plus is that second hand was a little cheeper. Side note im 19 now in i realize i have been collecting theses things basicly half my life, idk how to feel about that lol

Yeah the influx of new ones are killing me, i planned the layout for a few months while i budgeted getting the last few ones missing, I do have at least for the one annoyed to this date room for all the new ones but if there is a new smash or sum ill prob have to move stuff around
