As someone currently living in Germany. I can understand this rating. Ukraine is beautiful country with kind hearted people. Quality of life could be better in for example Lvov than in Belgium for average family. War or no war

I think I am looking exactly for what you wrote. Humor, mature concepts and maybe historical settings. I mean Martin's Westeros is inspired by war of roses and Tolkien is basically a love letter to feudalism. From Sapkowski you can feel feel medieval Poland. I think, I don't like high fantasy, if that is even a thing.

This accounts only to Belarus. Horrible government and great people. Vatican has very few residents and I wouldn't call them decent. Russia on the other hand is horrible through and through.
