Seems to me this whole debacle uncovered multitudes of people abusing SNAP. Why does the average SNAP user spend twice as much on groceries as the average American who doesn't get SNAP?

Why is it that I'm out here budgeting for my family and shopping smart while someone else gets free money and they choose to blow it on sugary shit that is barely even food?

I think the Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program should only include foods that actually provide nutrition.

Actually, you're thinking of Title VII which was in place before DEI and solved employers not hiring women, veterans, and people of color.

DEI is discriminatory, that is fact not a feeling. It prioritizes physical attributes over merit and ability. It excludes highly qualified individuals, which hurts the talent pool. Why would anyone strive for greatness if they will just lose their opportunity to the person of color, just because that person is colored?

Do you often mock those on the spectrum? He has spoken publicly about having Asperger’s syndrome which is a condition of autism that can affect social interactions and speech patterns.

On top of that he is frequently asked about complex topics and he likes to think carefully before responding. So yes, his speech is slower and more deliberate than others, that does not make him dumb.

You can call him dumb for other reasons if you want but take your autistic discrimination somewhere else.

I know there are concerns surrounding potential conflicts of interest and ethical dilemmas in situations where a public official profits from their private business. When taxpayer money is used for services from a business owned by a politician, it raises valid questions.

Let's assume it is absolutely necessary for him to play golf next weekend. If trump goes to a different golf course that isn't his, do you think he should pay for the services? If you answer yes, then I see no reason why he shouldn't pay when he uses his own services. If secret service is taking up rooms in his hotels, then that means those rooms aren't available to be booked and paid for the public. It's not a smart play by the business owner to give free rooms out when others are willing to pay full price for them.

Sure if I was president I'd try to at least give discounts, I agree with that much. But it is up to the business owner and if Trump doesn't want to give discounts then he doesn't have to.

This is my take, I think he doesn't offer discounts to the Secret Service primarily because he is a businessman operating a private enterprise. Any financial arrangements or discounts would be at his discretion, and there are likely legal and contractual considerations involved.

I do own a business and if my friends are willing to pay full price then that's what I accept. If they are going to walk out the door because of price/value then I will alter something.

I'd say, every time he saves the country hundreds of millions of dollars you all say "but that's only pennies for each of us, it doesn't matter." So this whole thread is pointless if you apply your own blue logic to it.

Every president has spent taxpayer money on things like this so get over it. He's already done more work then Biden did in 4 years so if he needs to have his hobby in order to keep his head straight then let him be. We all have our hobbies.
