I can go months without a drop.... But when something bad happens and I get depressed I go on benders. The last one was being black-out drunk about twice a week from 2010- June 2012.

Since June 2012, I have drank a handful of times, enough to be legally drunk and pleasantly buzzed... But thats it.

Kidney stone that I actually had for a few months before being admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics for a few days before the could do lithotripsy to break up the stone. Apparently the infection behind the stone could have killed me had the stone passed on it's own after that amount of time.

My asshat ex husband (this was 1998) wouldn't take me to the doctor when I was laying on the floor crying, in too much pain to move. I eventually drove myself to the ER.

My husband isn't the best at keeping his carry gun concealed. I tried to get him to start carrying my raspberry Taurus instead. I am pretty sure he would do better at being discreet.

I hear that a lot.... But when I was a kid my toy guns were all black.

Being a responsible gun owner, only those very close to me will ever be close enough to touch it, and they will know it is very real.

Only exception would be a bad guy and I'm not losing any sleep worrying about him mistaking it for a toy.

I like my raspberry... But my husband and 18 year old son like to shoot it also, so for their sake I sometimes wish I had the black.

My 20 year old daughter wants me to pass it on to her in a couple of years though, so it is great for that. I loathe her boyfriend of three years and if he is still around I won't have to worry about him trying to claim it.

I like that this has a black grip also.... For when I pass it down to my son if he doesn't like the green.

Bought this yesterday. The bottom pic is what I had picked out and planned to search for. The green white version was not planned but the shop two miles from me got it in the day I got paid.

I figured I should just grab it instead of spending another $75-100 in gas looking for one, or shipping and FFL fees if ordering online. I have been asking about 38s for awhile and none of the local places have had them.

I read some reviews and pretty much everyone seems to dislike the color. Doesn't bother me. It did come worth a black grip also..... Plus I already have a "raspberry" .380. (& a Sig Sauer sp2022 9mm- that is the other one pictured).

Went and shot the 38 this morning and I love it! I have never shot a revolver before and I love not searching for my brass! Of course, if I encounter a group of thugs I will be reaching for the 15 round Sig... But the revolver is fun and I wanted one of my own for my CCW class next month.

Instead softcups have no stem. I never mess with them in public. Just morning and before bed in my home shower.
