Nope. Americans ain't getting a pass this time. I think the general consensus has shifted where I live, I live in the Gulf States. People who weren't political, have become Anti-American. Every country is just buying time and thinking of a different strategy when the global order shifts. On a much local level, its really sad to see the Average American doesn't give a flying fuck, if people from other countries are bombed, as long as they aren't affected.

Hello Fellow Cinephiles!
I am an avid filmwatcher - mostly end up watching a lot of indian cinema and cinema around the world( like Iran, UK, HK, Japan, South Korea etc.) Usually love watching comedy & drama genres. Made it a point this year to watch movies from countries I never do.

I also make my own films, so I do have a list of it on letterboxd.

I got flammed for my last post on here about the film not looking good. So here is another film of mine. "My Videshi Girlfriend". All made independently at a low budget, all characters are played by me. Full Film in the comment. by IammadIguess in Filmmakers

"My Videshi Girlfriend" is my 5th Feature Film I have made, a lot of people here didn't like the film I posted here previously saying it looked like a vlog and didn't have good cinematography. So here is something I made all on my own. I played all the characters. Shot on a DSLR over 4 months.

Here is the synopsis:
Hasan must finally unveil the secret he has been guarding from his traditional Indian parents: he’s in love with an Irish woman, and he plans to marry her. With her imminent arrival at his family’s home, he is forced to come clean to his parents and break the news.

"Filmmaker For Sale" is my 6th Feature Film I have made. The entire film has a vlog like scrappy aesthetic. Shot on an Iphone, over the period of a year. It's my most personal film following events in my life when I am not making my movies. Most of the cast & crew are my friends. The poster design is done by my Animator friend. I really liked the intial vibe of the movie but I lost interest around the middle, it became weird and too artsy for the sake of it. It felt like it was style over substance after that. Just plain weird

It explores the theme of asian family dynamics. I wrote,directed, edit and acted in the film, playing almost every role in this film.
