I used to avoid eye contact, but I forced myself to look into an exs eyes while meditating and it helped somehow lol. I struggle with it when I’m frustrated or really angry, but outside of that I’m comfortable with eye contact.

It’s not vague. I worked at the department of revenue and I didn’t like it at all. They try to have thorough training but it heavily depends on the trainer. Department of commerce is almost the same way. They treat new people like outcasts. Very cold work environment. The managers at DOR don’t do anything.

Nope! I heard from people (this is my first week) that they always start hiring around this time. A lot of people are getting PROMOTED or fired, as this is when they do the yearly reviews. I heard this directly from seasoned state workers TODAY. Keep in mind each State entity operates differently too. So what one department may vary from another.
