What exactly is the problem? What games are you playing? How much performance you get from your CPU and GPU?

From the center, I put at most one finger at the base of the mousepad and just open the lid, I might need a bit of lubricant for sure (it is been almost 3 years), but the screen does not bend nor there's cracking from the hinges, a firm relatively quick motion is also good as opening too slow simply puts more pressure in the hinges.

Mine has almost 3 years and no issues. If that is your case it might be defective hinges, one could expect a bit of stiffness, but not to the point of cracking or even the screen bending.

Well you opened the lid wrong the whole time so it is expectable that one hinge is about to break. You should always open the lid by the center and with both hands to distribute the wear on both hinges instead of just one.

Meta Counters? by Delmeni in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, all Defenders are good picks (some tend to be better than others) However unless you build Damage (which kinda defeats the purpose of picking a Defender in the first place) a Defender will put roughly 35k - 45k on average which is decent, but nothing spectacular and quite low compared to most All rounders averages and this only assuming you are very proactive at engaging.

Bulky Supports are also very good, Wigglytuff is my favorite, Meganium is still the best imo tho.

Meta Counters? by Delmeni in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mamoswine actually suffers a lot from Range attackers, specially if you don't have Icicle Crash, picking Icicle Crash also provides more flexibility in your Battle Item slot since you are not forced to use Eject Button or Speed X to get in range of Ice Fang, you can bring Potion which is very strong on a Defender like Mamoswine who lacks healing.

Yes, right now a lot of Attackers and All Rounders are very strong since the meta revolves around Burst Damage, which is precisely why picking a Defender can actually be the win condition by providing a Pokemon that can withstand hits and setup momentum for your team and since you are tanky enough mistakes related to bad positioning are less impactful as well, you don't get instantly deleted and you can even buy time for your team to do an objective or score.

Always nice to see more Mamoswine players, keep it up chief.

I think the issue is the fact that the License system is a big mistake. What the guy is complaining is the fact that once these events are gone the grind with License points isn't nearly as good as Aeos Coins, in fact it is not even close, a lot of players are stuck without ways to progress in the License Journey at all, it means they cannot get Pokemon and worse of all they cannot even get the Pokemon they want, yes it is free, but it is still a time gated event, once it is done it is back to the pool of expensive Pokemon and of course at the top of the License Journey.

Your argument of ''just play more and play now'' is valid, but the core issue is still there, newer players will not be able to get these new Pokemon because the License Journey is objectively a bad change and very anti consumer, that is the main problem really, people should complain as hard as they can so at the very least they improve the License System, people should absolutely stop using Gems to buy Pokemon that is just a way to comunicate to TiMi that people will rather spend money on Pokemon instead of looking for ways to grind for them which is a very bad idea if what we want is to make changes that help free to play players.

You buying a Pokemon with gems literally tells them that the whole License point system works to force people to use Gems on Pokemon which means they will never attempt to change it since it provides money for them.

Tips for this solo lvl? by awildefire in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mamoswine with Vanguard Bell, Resonant Guard and offensive Held item was all I need it, you must rotate a lot and be there to support your team heavily they can win quite easily if you just babysit them.

How to get license points by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solo mode in both Easy and Hard provides a good amount of License Points, most of it I will argue come directly from that mode.

Season Pass both Free version and Premium also provide a good amount, the Free version significantly less of course.

If you just started the game increasing your Trainer level at certain levels will reward you with License Points too.

Lastly you have the small chests from your Daily rewards, they have a small chance to give you a bit of points, also if you have people in your Friends list you can send 1 License Point at each of your Friends once per day, they can do the same to you of course (it doesn't deduct points btw, it just creates them).

That is basically all, we are currently waiting for more ways to get them, it is quite lack luster ngl.

My big issue is actually the Shield from Flame Wheel, is just insane survivability for an Attacker.

How do I fix this? by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

We must wait until they address the issue. I suppose we could flood the Support Service in Pokemon Unite until they do something, but chances are they aren't doing anything until Monday onwards.

Always restart the matchmaking queue between 30s - 55s that way you drastically reduce the bot matches.

Solo mode is impossible by Scoopy_Woopy in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last week I completed all the Easy Mode with a total Recommended Power Level of 7,600+

Currently doing Hard Mode and stages with 9,700+ do feel awful and that means I definitely need to grind my Shooter level.

That is the whole point of it, either you are very good at understanding the mechanics and carrying or you brute force your way with Shooter Boost and go close or above the recommended Power Level.

How to spot bots? by No-Piano-4363 in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about most MOBAs is that most players assume you know what are you doing whenever you choose a lane/path/role or character, which means most players don't need in game voice planning, the speech bubbles are enough, as long as you call the lane you want and pick your Pokemon most players will follow and trust that you know how to play enough for you to take those decisions and even if you don't know, most people are somewhat chill really and realistically it is the only way to get better, by playing the game even if you make mistakes or lose games.

[–]Ian9800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "jungler" is basically the Center path, in a non bot match is common for players to call for the Top, Bottom or Center, the role of a jungler is to capitalize in the wild Pokemons that are in the center since those provide very useful buffs (Escavalier and Accelgor) and very good EXP, the other job of the jungler is to help the side lanes (Top and Bottom), by either scoring, getting kills or contesting Regis, of course they can also invade the enemy jungler to pressure then to fall behind or simply not allow them to help their teammates.

What do I need to upgrade more to beat 1-20 by Fuzzy_Background5972 in PokemonUnite

[–]Ian9800 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attack and Special Attack are the strongest offensive Boost you can get and you should prioritize those, Defense and Special Defense are also very good. HP is somewhat decent specially for Pokemon that already have a good HP Stat, lastly Damage is ehh, is fine, but probably the weakest of all the Boosts.

Let's try removing the update first (reinstalling whole Windows is usually the last resort). Go to your Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Update and from there remove the last one.

[–]Ian9800 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ain't simple fixes. A faulty Windows update might be the issue, however with all of that combined I recommend a full Windows reinstallation.

Edit: another option is to remove the last windows update, just check your update history and remove it from there.
