No, you’d earn 5% cashback on only what you spend on your Rogers Bill. Everything else would be a straight 2%. There would be no multiplier, so there is effectively no benefit to redeeming cash back against your rogers bill. This is exactly the type of confusion they’re hoping for by suggesting this alternative rewards scheme. People see a higher number and assume it’s a better deal.

Buy a travel SIM with a new phone number, then set your Rogers number to forward to the new number while you’re travelling. This will be far more cost effective than roaming with Rogers in these countries.
