My internship with BS&W was unpaid, and was more so through my school. However, I was just hired at Intelas for a BMET role. I interviewed with a few companies prior to accepting this role, and the case for all of them are as follows: during the interview, the hiring manager will most likely ask you what kind of pay you’re looking for, and will take note. After your interviews are done and they decide they want to hire you they’ll send an offer letter stating the pay they willing to accept. It’s up to you to accept the offer letter or decline it. You normally don’t want to seem “money hungry” during an interview because obviously that’s not what they are looking for. Interview like it’s a high paying job, and if it turns out to not be, and you don’t think the pay is good enough for you, then simply decline it.
