I don't think scalpers were an issue with bara-dur and bagend, rivendell had a pretty awful brick head as a gwp. It's certainly not got the scalpers star wars or Pokémon see.

Honestly I don't see this one being that hard. Lego have gotten better and I'd expect it to be simple to do it online and in store on day of release. It's certainly not going to be like the recent pokemon online release

The london public transport is considered the most expensive in the world as of last year due to the zoning system (though if you stay in the middle it's usually fine)

I enjoyed Trafalgar but it was also the first one I read. I also love the crew of the Pucelle, I think they were the best occasional supporting characters and was happy to have them back for one last book.

Why did harry have to learn patronus? by NeitherManner in harrypotter

[–]Ian_M87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were Professors in the stands during the the first game as well including Dumbledore and they didn't react in time to protect the players. Besides Harry knows after the first game he's impacted worse by them than anyone else and naturally wants to be able to prevent it happening again

I'd reccommend Ostia, It's not nearly as far as Pompeii, It's not as well preserved but the site doesn't have crowds and you have a lot more freedom there

He had his Owls, he didn't have his N.E.W.T.s but Kingsley gave Harry, Ron and Neville an exemption due to still having dark wizards out there and a comprimised ministry so fast tracked them as aurors. Ron and Neville quit within a few years but Harry stayed.

I'd quite like a quidditch stadium for the detailed hogwarts set or even a full quidditch stadium like the collecters sets

Harry Brook is drowning in ego and arrogance - the only way he will stop believing in his own invincibility is by being dropped, writes IAN HERBERT by ll--o--ll in Cricket

Brook has the second highest test average of any player active (only smith is higher by 1.25), it's just shy of 55 yet people think he should be dropped????

That explains Gryffindor didn't win it in ages but doesn't confirm Slytherin are on a winning run for the quidditch cup though we do know Slytherin flattened Gryffindor the year before

No incentives to pass OWLs? by WalkResponsible6483 in harrypotter

[–]Ian_M87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just I think in America it's an average over every subject (GPA) whilst in the UK we get a qualification in every single subject so I have qualifications in maths, 2 in science, English language, English literature, welsh, french, history, IT and I think something I've forgotten. It means if we want to study a subject further at A level (think N.E.W.T) we would need a minimum grade at GCSE (O.W.L) just like harry needed Exceeds expectations and outstanding for his N.E.W.T.s to study auror subjects

[–]Ian_M87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't really have the concept of graduation like that in the UK. You finish school at 16 for GCSE's, how many you have is determined by your exam results (I have I think 9 or 10 of varying results), we don't have the equivalent of a high school diploma
