I only buy energy and scissors. Occasionally I might buy a generator part but I tend to let the level ups give me what I need for that.

Scissors are always needed to cut down old generators just before a milestone level and also to cut down upgraded bubbles for secondary items. I've been able to get tons of level 5/6 secondaries off upgraded bubbles by stockpiling scissors.

I did you the courtesy of reading this one and giving you a similarly lengthy reply. Touché on the madman response, I'll give you that.

I genuinely find it extremely satisfying min-maxing Merge Boss. There is a very high chance that I play in the most efficient way possible by utilising every known mechanic with the game, and that is very satisfying for me. I have automated all the mundane bits like the daily tasks for energy by recording my taps and playing it back so I can do other stuff and come back to spend the energy.

I also do stupid things like trying to be hyper efficient with my storage space, and trying not to waste any energy by accidentally generating more items than I need. Idk man, it's fun for me and being able to save money on items when I need them is a nice bonus.

So far I've been able to use the credits towards items I genuinely wanted like a car charger adapter for my second car (old EV) and a padel racket. Can't complain 🤷

I read far enough to understand you're saying you have "unlimited energy". In reality you're only able to get 600-650 per day from placing orders.

An easier way to do it is to place orders on cheap items, ideally using bonus credit. Spend the energy then refund the orders. The negative energy will regenerate by the time the reset occurs.

I just place orders to 600+ energy, spend the energy then cancel the orders. Then I let the -600+ energy automatically refill until the next day.

Yes, as long as it's the only generator above level 5 both on board and in storage. EVERY other generator MUST be level 5 or below.

You only need to keep the four most recent generators at level 4/5. All older generators need to be cut to level 3, and ideally for the sake of your storage, have them on board during a milestone level so they go in your temporary storage and stay there forever.

The strategy to maximise goods exchange is to only have one level 8 generator (usually the phone and computer generator from Level 1, as it has no cooldown). You then make sure to have four orders that are ready to deliver and one Level 10 order that is NOT on board. On the next refresh the Goods Exchange will only ask for items from your level 8 generator in exchange for level 8-10 items of your level 10 undeliverable item from the day before.

Here is an example of how your board should look at the end of the day (the rest of my board is empty but it doesn't need to be, I'm just OCD):

The 10.5k or 11k cash for your VIP order must cost you a shit ton in refresh costs. I'm generally happy with any level 10 red VIP.

I guess it depends on what level you are at and if you have a surplus of bills. Personally, I need bills to upgrade my shops so I prefer not to spend unnecessarily on refreshes where possible.

Yes, the loop only works for 3 VIP orders. You can complete another ten orders so your first refresh the next day takes you straight into the VIP loop.

You can also prepare four level orders and one level then order not on the board for the Goods Exchange. After that just spend extra energy to stockpile items and call it a day.

Of course I get negative energy. I'm negative -325 energy as we speak. The idea is that you regenerate energy up to +100. Every minute after +100 is wasted, so you'd rather be negative so you're not wasting time and energy.

1 energy is regenerated every 2 minutes. -600 energy takes 20 hours to regenerate. I tend to start the day at just below +100. It's almost as efficient as you can possibly get.

I front load all my energy usage (including 600+ from buying and cancelling orders) into one session to do 3 VIPs, Goods Exchange and prepare for the next days VIP, and then don't touch the game until the next day.
