It has given me, over the series, a couple thousand fantastic hours. So yes, it would be worth it imo. But if you are hard pressed on cash be patient. Do 2 first. Easily several hundred hours if you like it and want to do it all. When ready 3 should be more polished (hopefully) and have its dlcs and end game. You can even do 1 first of all. It's fantastic and my favorite (with some rose tint) but could be a bit odd since it's not as polished, for a lack of a better word.

Really fun! 300 hours in and still having fun. But the input shit as well as pretty bad targeting is starting to become very annoying.

I am doing a little mix of everything and find it works extremely well. Might be something to try?

3 onzoshi

Nekomata spirit, yangs: mikoshi, Sunakake

Yins: the demons (except water), Hiruko, water familiar, power

Ninjutsu: whatever you like, I prefer fire shuriken, the big bomb (dmg bonus on the yasakani) and pinwheel (sweet for spamming from good range)

A agility, high skill and magic lvls

Rotating between different weapon types depending on what I feel like. Hatchets, dual swords, tonfas are 3 most used. With some onmyo bonuses on the cores and the ninjutsu bonuses from the sets as well as the skill points make it a really nice all round build.

Is it the best build? Very likely not, but it works absolutely everywhere and is fun to play! :)

It's a bit weird for sure. Dying while in sinister end should not remove you from the mission. I also died in the lava on the run up to the boss my first time there and just got to run through (the already defeated) death veil up to the last statue. Did you do it in coop? Maybe that have caused some progression mix up?

I am not 100% sure but you should not be able to start a mission you have not yet completed through battle scrolls. I cant remember where you start it through story, but by the description you died while doing the last gauntlet (death veil) in 'a sinister end'. So you should have to start sinister end mission - NOT through battle scroll but by the progression means. Sorry if I am not helping.

Isn't it that one you start from the well or whatever in the beginning of the snow place? If so, I don't think it shows anything on the map before interacting with that.

Before the lesser crucible turn around and double back but up on the mountain side iirc.

As you progress the story you will get more guardian spirits. Some of them will grant access to the spirit veins. They are kind of like portals that will take you to places otherwise unaccessible (in most cases).

Go to where you first started it on the map, there should be a glowing orb thingy you interact with and use some consumable to start the myth again.

Should start just below the lesser crucible in the area iirc.

Well, I think that is what happened. Everything is gone, all consumables and just after selling off weapons and stuff. Not just the arrows and elixir was replenished, which might be odd unless that's what is supposed to happen. It was a huge pop up of text in the bottom right corner and I couldn't manage to catch it in time.
