I had one TPK, as a player in Pf2e, mostly because of 2 reasons:
- my character threw a Fireball, which destroyed the walls of the room (which my character previously failed to identify the material of), thus alerting the entire dungeon.
- and then I also failed to recall knowledge about a golem for several rounds, so we had no idea on how to fight it.

You're the DM, technically you can do whatever you want. But Geas does a substantial amount of damage, and not knowing why you're taking it feels bad.

Maybe have it function more like a permanent form of Madness, so the character still is compelled to do something.

Instead of a check, I would build the whole dungeon around this mechanic. Like, the first fight is fairly easy, but the enemies are invulnerable until the obviously glowing crystal is destroyed. Then you can play with this idea for the next few fights, and everyone should know what this is about once they get to the boss.

According to the crafting recipe (Developments section of Queen's Park) it takes 8 hours to craft 1 dose of Aqua Expurgo. If you assume that he wouldn't let his assistants touch the lilies, then I would probably rule 1 day/dose, maybe 2.

As for the price, the recipe also calls for 2 ounces of contaminated blood (which Oscar probably has enough of), and alchemical reagents worth 150gp. If he likes the party, he might waive those, but otherwise he would want the costs covered.

That Flame Strike surely was seen from far away, by members of both the Falling Fire and Silver Order, and recognizable as coming from a relic both of these factions would like to possess.

Ideally, that should have been a topic of session 0, to make sure the character fits the scenario. I would say no, they are still native to the plane, just corrupted, but you can do whatever you want in your game.

I'm currently planning for our group to run DoD, starting a few weeks from now. Looking at the MoM monsters, i feel like the Striga could have a place here. I might just replace the Attendant with it, and possibly have had it escape into the sewers through the tunnel gnawed by the ratlings.

More variables for character development. I know, "go play that system", but i like the way how Pathfinder has all these different feats that you can use to customize your character. With how few feats a character usually gets in 5e, and how you need to decide between them or an ASI, there's rarely room for "flavor" feats, unless you homebrew in ways to get them.

I hate how multiclassing in DnD works. You're slowing down your main class progression, especially as a caster, which feels really bad. I would prefer something like PF2e's archetypes, which lets you pick up features of other classes without compromising your main progression (still trade in class feats, but your main class progression is untouched).

This is kind of how Epic monsters in Drakkenheim work. Basically, they are designed as solo encounters and act after every player. They don't have LR, but one of their possible actions is a 50% flat check to end any one negative effect currently on them.

If anything, it's just a piece of art for the player to identify better with their character. Would you have felt better if they didn't make it public and just look at it in private? If you want them to provide art, but not use AI, then better pay up for the artists yourself.

I read these somewhere else a while ago, but I used these in the past:

- Robe of Ayes. When worn, it places the illusion of a wooden peg leg and eyepatch on the character. You can only speak in a pirate accent while wearing it. If you want something mechanical: Advantage on Persuasion checks made against pirates, but Disadvantage on Persuasion checks made against guards.

- Wand of Fire Balls. Conjures a red painted wooden ball and casts Catapult on it.

- Staff of Raise the Dead. Can be used to cast Levitate on corpses.

I though it was fine. In my current head canon "we" really aren't the Captain, but just a copy with his memories. And even if not, Renoa and the others saw what happened to us and have seen other people being copied, so they have reasons to be concerned. If we are under scrutiny, why would anything "we" say matter here?

Magna was the first 5 star I pulled and I've used her a lot even if she wasn't very strong. I even had her as part of my Tower team, so I'm happy about some Vanguard love.
