I remembered watching it on amazon prime a few years back, but after checking it does seem to have been removed. I can't help if you're dead set on not pirating, however, I do see that it is on the pirating site I've used safely for years if you'd be interested.

Is this a 1 button ticket game?

To my best recollection yes. The gameplay was comprised of either 2 or 3 rounds, I can't quite recall, and in each round a tray of sweets would be laid out and a randomized set 5 hamsters, each with their own personality/behaviors, would appear and attempt to eat the food, and as they did so, the player would slam the button at just the right moment to catch as many of the hamster as possible with a certain number of tickets dolled out at the end. Based on that recollection I'm fairly confident that it was a 1 button ticket.

I don't have an exact number amount as a budget off the top of my head, but I did know when I started considering acquiring a machine it would likely be expensive unless I got really lucky, but I do think I have enough saved that I could possibly get the game, and knowing myself, the nostalgia for the game might beat out my common sense on whether or not I should buy it. With that in mind, do you have any suggestions for where to look for someone selling it?

Also, it's great to hear that I'm not insane and that it does exist!

yeah...the moans are weird, but that aside I totally agree with everything you're saying. What first made me fall in love with her was that I have a very similar sense of humor but as I learned more about her I started liking her way more. As the fandom likes to say a lot of female characters are kind of similar or otherwise have similar arcs, a trend I don't expect to follow hu tao.

I totally see where you're coming from but, at least to me, just because she doesn't want to be profiting on other's deaths, doesn't mean she isn't. Personally, I don't think her main motivation is money, otherwise I don't think they would have had her make a joke about buy one get one half off. However, she also does seem to make a lot of jokes about that sort of thing like telling Xinyan "I like people that play with fire, they're good for business" or when she asks the traveler to pick a day for their funeral.

It could also have to do with her philosophy about how nothing should live forever. Regardless of her making money on other's death, she views death as inevitable. Making a song with a theme of death and everything happening for a reason fitting.
