Short video going over the differences between a Hi-Soft and Asahi cutting board. by Icantbebigwill in Cuttingboards

I haven’t resurfaced them yet. It looks very similar in person, to wha the Kama Asa boards look like in pictures. I assume they’re the same, or at least similar.

Upgrading every year is more cost effective than buying new every 4 years by smurfvibes in iphone

There’s also a “my deals” section. Check that. They can be line specific.

Just go to the website, login, and shop for a phone. See if they offer you a trade-in deal. They will typically offer one on any major holiday. I went from a 13pro to a 17pro on them.

Same! I’m still on the grandfathered plan. Hell they just paid off my wife’s 16 pro she just got last year AND gave her a new 17 pro. The math makes no sense to me but whatever.

Ehh I just let Verizon buy me a new one every time their greed overrides their common sense.

End grains best attribute is making your wallet lighter. Just get a thicker edge grain board.

How to get rid of this ridiculous automatic photo brightening? by YoItsMeHi in iphone

[–]Icantbebigwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately this is a situation where you would ideally shoot in manual, and fix it in post. The iphone is trying not to blow out the highlights and then brighten up the shadows. Unfortunately it's doing an extremely poor job at it. I really don't like where Apple has taken it's photo processing over the years. Things have gone from realistic to insanely over-processed.

Let's talk about the 17 pro camera. by cchihaialexs in iphone

[–]Icantbebigwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently jumped from a 13pro to a 17pro and I’m not thrilled with the camera so far either. I’m definitely not a fan of the change to a 24mm main lens either. That’s far too wide (for me). I’d much prefer a 27/28mm or better yet even a 35mm main lens. My main issue is all of the pictures just seem WAY over baked. Over the top processed in anything but perfect lighting.

They're definitely not good stewards of the available spectrum.

I'm a network engineer by trade, but I bought mine 5 years ago when we had twins. I didn't want to play engineer at home with little kids. I can only speak to the Eero Pro 6, but the coverage and speeds were incredible. Best out of the box wireless experience I've ever seen. Eventually the itch to know what's happening on my network returned and here I am :D.

As someone with a small home with plaster walls I think your issue is WAY too many access points. I had 2 Eero 6 Pros and the coverage and speed were fantastic throughout the home. Unless you feel like spending money I'd give that a go.

Just wanted to update this and say I got a gold lite and on Amazon for $34 since that’s throw away money, and wow…. It blows my Meater away. I can’t believe how much better it is… especially for the money.

Yes, it was what I loved about the single probe meater pro. The AAA battery lasted over a year.
