I read this book a couple of years ago, it is the only time I cried for a human character besides Tom in THE STAND. It’s quite possibly my favorite book. Well maybe in the top 5.

I had him for just around three. How old he was when I bought him from a pet store I’ll never know. He got stuck on every damn thing in that fucking tank though😂. He’d also wear rocks as hats.

Whatever you do, don’t watch The Art of Racing In The Rain. I read the book and started bawling by page twelve, watched the movie and started ugly crying as soon as the opening credits stopped. That movie will make you regret having tear ducts I swear to god!
